I bought this to connect the Zamp portable solar panel to the battery. It works for that purpose and fits the Zamp SAE solar connector. Using this plug instead of alligator clips (that come with Zamp solar panel) is a lot faster, easier and safer. The only improvement would be a bit longer lead wire that would allow connection to be made a bit further from the battery.
