looks like plastic but is actually aluminum. Seems solid enough. Don’t believe I should have any problems with it

DONT KNOW IF ITS THE 8N FITTINGS ON MY FUEL TANK NEW OR THESE NEW FITTINGS BUT THE THREADS ARE A POOR FIT WAY TOO LOOSE

Worked great for my application setting up new lines for my ’89 F350’s transmission cooler. I used one of these coming out of the bottom of the radiator tank and going into the auxiliary cooler up front. Nice black finish, and the hose fitment was perfect. Already pressure tested and running, and I’ve found no leaks.
Keep in mind that this fitting will not swivel freely once the collar is tightened down, unlike some AN fittings I’ve encountered which have integrated O-rings. It is instead locked firmly in place wherever you position it.

These fittings have good threads, fit appropriately and they have a nice finish.
The price was good too.
I have had no leaks.
