Good quality, good packaging and a superior alternative to OEM. I installed this on a 2008 Buick Lucerne for a customer of mine. Customer needed the cheapest option for a replacement ignition control module. I went with this, and the vehicle started up immediately with zero issues. It’s the same design, same style as the OEM module. No issues with Installation either. Customer was not getting spark on cylinders 2 and 5. Vehicle’s ignition coil packs were not the issue, but I decided to changed them while I was at it due to the fact they were a weaker spark than normal.
Needless to say, sometimes it’s perfectly fine to purchase aftermarket parts such as this. I’ve been a professional Ase certified technician for over twelve years, and in my experience something like this was a much better alternative than paying 100’s of dollars for an acdelco or OEM module. This will give you the value for your money.
