These hold together very well. Decent lifespan. I would buy again. The do cut the surface so try to test a spot before commiting.

I needed something for a small granite project – where boar’s hair is the recommended burnishing pad but I didn’t want to sling muck around with a 7″ disk for a small area.
The disks are a little smaller and a little thinner than I expected, and the plastic core had me worried
I used these on a 5″ variable speed angle grinder for the granite polishing compound – a slurry to dry process that can put a lot of strain on the disk and pad.
I was really pleasantly pleased – I expected I might use several disks if they wore quickly or shed too much but a single disk finished the project – which was nice because I used a lot less diamond compound with only one disk.
The felt isn’t rock hard and was a good fit for the project – which wasn’t a perfectly flat surface but had some dip to it and needed a little tip to the pad to get everywhere – which it tolerated really well – at everything from slow to full speed.
I think if you were using these at full speed and an aggressive angle (not mostly flat) you could get the plastic to fracture and the felt to distort a lot – it is a softer material – but used mostly flat, there did really well. I haven’t found any felt disks that hold up well working on corners of things.
These put a shiny gloss finish back on some very hard granite.

These polishing disc are very durable. They easily bring out the shine on stainless steel projects that I work on. Was skeptical at first, but as soon as I used this product I got results fairly quickly. Very happy with my purchase. Would definitely recommend.

For me, stainless steel is one of the hardest things to polish and I was able to get a pretty good shine without too many buffer marks using these wheels. They don’t last that long. But that being said they aren’t that expensive either.
