Did the job very well. Well made, solid, durable looking cables. Used to link a 400W solar panel hub to Charge controller. Previous 16 AWG cable got red hot and tripped the breaker in the afternoon sun.

These appear to be well made, but be aware they are aluminum not copper wire. This means they will not handle the current of a 10AWG copper wire. Plus copper is more expensive.

The wire used claims to be 10awg and I cut one apart to see if there was truth in advertising. Well I’m happy to report the beefiness is due more to copper than insulation. Good quality and the caps are a nice touch. Important if you’re trying to push more current/amps than your typical trickle charger.

I purchased these connectors to hook up a portable 12 volt macerator pump to my RV. They were spliced into 10ga. wire running between the pump and battery so that the wire could be disconnected. Soldering required a mini torch because of the heat sinking capacity of the heavy gauge wire. The job went well and these connectors work perfectly. They make a firm mechanical connection yet are not so tight that they can’t be pulled apart with reasonable effort. Insulation appears to be of good quality and the wires are flexible. I would not hesitate to use them for my next project.
