So far so good. No issues, no leaks. I’m only on my 1st one so time will tell. The tool included is helpful to take off old plug and tighten new one. You’ll know when it is tight because you’ll feel a slight bump while tightening it. Good bang for your buck.

After many failed attempts through a joke of a “mechanic.” My fiance took my oil change into his own hands.
The tool is helpful as a flat head may cause issues when tightening. No leaks, fits correctly for my gti, super easy one , two, and you’re done. Plus there’s 6 plugs here, 5 more oil changes to go, perfect value compared to some others.

The tool is very solid and not cheap feeling. It worked well, and I replaced the old drain plug with the one of the new ones. No issues.

Just changed the oil in my 19 Tiguan myself for the first time. I’ve been using the dealership. This T-handle made it very easy to remove and replace the oil plug. Cost to change oil at dealership is around 120$. This will help reduce that cost significantly. Oil plug fits properly and no leaks.
I change oil at 5000 miles rather than the 10000 miles Vw recommends. My engine doesn’t use oil.

If you have a 2019 Audi Q5, those drain plugs and tool wrench are perfect. Local dealers are able to change your oil at an excellent price compared to an Audi dealership.

Had to trim off the edges to fit an A4B9, won’t rotate because the ends are too thick.
But once you use pipe cutter 5o trim the ends off it works as intended.

I took this out and used it to change my oil in my 2018 Tiguan. My husband assisted me as this was my first time messing around with the oil changes on this vehicle.
That being said we possess an OEM version of this tool that is very effective so I am comparing this tool to the straight handled one we already own as a newbie of oil changes on the TIggy.
The tight quarters underneath a ramped up compact SUV make the T shaped handle a bit more difficult to manuever. The tip fits exactly as you would hope and expect it to inside the little valve you “screw” out of the oil pan however the T Handle does make it a little tougher to navigate.
The valves are of the same quality as the OEM valves.
Overall I recommend this if you need a bit more leverage and you are adept to the tight confines under the car and have no fear, probably. It felt weird for this newbie to manuever vs. our straight version and my husband (who has changed the oil in my VW about 10 times now) agrees fully.
