You get what you ask for. this is a very simple to use GPS speedometer, I tested it and it was always within 1mph of what my car was saying. Screen is bright enough and the little sun-shade bit is really useful. Only qualms is the “refresh speed” could be faster, I’d have the mph change on my dashboard before this sometimes (really being nit-picky about that) and that they didn’t include any tape for mounting this thing because it will fly, easily. Nice that they include a usb power cable, and while I’d prefer type C charging this thing for whatever reason has a type A charging port. very weird to see on something made in this decade, but it’s ok because they included a power cord.

This is a way to have a speedometer in a different field of view than what is built in for your car. This makes a connection to GPS satellites instead of cell towers to get your position and how fast you are moving. The display is very large and with a big contrast so you can see it in full daylight. It is really easy to install; just plug it in and it will be on with the car and off when the car is off. It just takes some time to connect to the GPS before it can provide a speed. The accuracy seems to be good, there is just a bit of delay for each update. If it is worth depends on what you need. I can see it being useful for long trips, especially in areas where you need to control speed. But for most people, this is inexpensive but unnecessary.
