This gas cap fits my 2004 3 series just fine. As you can see from the pictures is slightly smaller than the original. Install was super easy and it does feel secure. So far I’ve been able to drive around town with no issues and the gas light hasn’t come on. I gave it 4 stars because the it doesn’t actually “click” when you close it and the rubber string that’s used to attach it to the car is very stiff, hopefully it loosens over time.

find it to be every bit as good as the original. Even clicks in place like OEM. Appears very well
built out of OEM like quality materials and functions as described. Super low price point IMHO.
