I took a half dozen pictures of these good quality battery cables, showing both sides of the cables (while they were still bent from the package) and showing the straightened cables with a tape measure which shows they are ~14 inches from tip to tip of the lugs.
The metal lugs are all stamped with: 4×3/8 (I assume they are tin coated copper but I didn’t scrape off some tin to check the copper underneath).
The printing on the black cable reads: 057m
This appears to be the length along a big spool of wire that this black cable was cut from. I would have preferred to see some information about the gauge of the wire and the temperature rating of the insulation but this is all I got on these cables. There is no printing at all on the red cable, but that may be due to how short these cables are.
The cables are somewhat stiff as you might expect for this thick wire and tend to maintain their shape when held by one end, but they could be straightened easily enough for their straightened picture with the tape measure.
These appear to be some fairly typical good quality battery cables that can be used to connect a battery to an inverter in a solar power system or to connect multiple batteries in parallel (or series). These cables serve well for connecting a 12V battery to an inverter (preferably less than 1000W) or you could use them for connecting pair of batteries in parallel, but if you are going to exceed ~70Amps you should probably get two pairs and double up or just go with a thicker wire like 2AWG or 1/0AWG and if you are planning to exceed 100Amps then definitely double up or go with thicker wire than the 4AWG.
Overall these cables are very typical of what I have gotten on Amazon and I’m happy that they save me the trouble of getting heavy gauge wire and crimping lugs onto it myself. If you don’t have the tools, parts or skill to make your own cables then these pre-made battery/inverter cables are a good solution.

These were used to replace the OEM parts in a John Deere Gator that had corroded from the battery. Fortunately, they were a perfect replacement and work great! It’s been in operation for awhile and no issues so far. Definitely recommend!

The lugs on these are crimped tightly; that’s pretty much the only real positive thing I can say about them. Rated cables should have labeling printed along the exterior, which these lack. This makes me question whether they’re to any real industry specifications and, if so, what spec? Speaking of which, that insulation is a bit thinner than I’d expect. I also noticed that the heat shrink wasn’t tight on the cables, so I removed it to add my own. It appears that they cut a bit too deep when stripping the sheath. There are quite a few strands in each of the ends that have been cut. Not enough to substantially impact the performance of the cable, but every little bit counts. For the right price and application, it’s just fine; but I probably won’t be using them for any project that requires even close to a 1/0 gauge.
