I have a 3000w inverter on my camper that I hooked up some 2/0 wire to feed from the batteries. I decided to do a load test pulling about 2700w from the inverter. This had a supply amperage of about 245A at 12V through the 2/0 wire. The insulation and the fuse holder melted , oops! I put on these heavier 1/0 wires and a 300amp breaker with large connector posts and problem solved. Their well made.

Just ordered, got it today, installed it today. Well made product, exactly as pictured / described. The terminal lugs are installed on the same plane, that may be good, may be bad, depending on your install needs. On my GMT800 Suburban, 5.3 Vortec, I was able to twist the 12″ cable slightly and align the smaller-hole lug in a flipped position on the alternator, which works fin for me. I should have taken a better picture featuring just the product, but I was adding another cable / solenoid as well.

I used the 7 foot 1/0 Gauge Battery cable to replace an old cable in my 65 Hp Tractor.
This cable is awesome and is so heavy duty. I would recommend this cable, in whatever length you require, should you ever need to change your positive red cable of your car, truck, or tractor. J Martinez

Worked perfectly when I upgraded my alternator on my 2500 hd 6.0. Definitely know now that power isn’t lost between alternator and power port. This is solid copper so is perfect for high amps. Will not fry like some of the plated ones out there
