Is a minimally effective substitution for the OEM product. When it is put in the brake mode it does not have a positive stop like the OEM product. You have to hold it in up position to keep limit switch engaged to start engine. Also as it does not lock in in the braked position, it is not a useful for putting mower in a parked position with rear wheels braked for when hauling mower on a trailer or parking mower on a steep incline. Also the cable wire is slightly twisted and it did not lay flat (was at a 45 degree angle to the plate) when bolting the looped end of the cable to the brake slide plate., Would have gladly paid the 50% more delivered price of the OEM cable but the Bad Boy OEM parts website is poorly designed and would not allow me to process my payment so I went to Amazon to get it cheaper and quicker.
