I replaced the original one with this one because I was skeptical about if the original is working correctly or not! As soon as I turned the key to second position , the fuel pump started making a weird noise I never heard of! I start the car. The noise was there. I turn it off and it started again. The noise was there took that piece off put the original and the fuel pump was working just fine no noise no anything so do not waste your time. Do not buy this at least for Volvo S40. I am so happy it did not ruin my fuel pump!
