Works great, charges my Lifepo batteries just fine. I have bought two now. One for a friend.

I actually received this charger back on Dec. 10 and at that it arrived a few days early. I had purchased this charger to activate the 100 ah LifePO4 battery that I had purchased back in August. After putting the battery in storage I found that it had shut down and no matter what I did I could not get it activated with the charger(s) that I had.
When this charger arrived I hooked it up to the battery and unfortunately I got the same results. So which product is bad. Finally received the new battery on the 4th of Jan. and great news the charger works just fine. Charged the new battery from 52% back to 80% for storage and it took just a little over and hour and a half or two hours. Amps never went below 19.8 so it is well within the raring.
Based on these results and also seller feed back(which was great) I would most certainly purchase this charger again. It appears to be a great unit and works as well as described.

Needed a bit heavier charger for a 50AH LifePO4 battery. This product works very well, seems well made, and has a real Anderson connector and pigtail. Very happy with the product.

Perfect match for the TimeUSB lithium battery I have. Charges battery quickly and shuts off at full charge.

Looks to be very nicely made. I like the sturdy extruded aluminum case. Very handy to have the pre-installed Anderson style connectors.
It appears to run one charge cycle each time you plug it in, then goes to sleep.
I hooked this up to an SOK 12V 100Ah battery running a powered cooler. When I first plugged it in it charged up my battery fairly quickly. The green ‘Charged’ LED came on solid. Then I monitored it. For days it never changed modes. It never attempted to charge the battery. After 86 hours the battery charge had dropped to 14%. I unplugged it and plugged it back in and it started its charging cycle.
If this is normal operation for this unit, you really cannot use this charger in unattended applications. You’d have to check periodically and then manually intervene to trick it into charging another single cycle.
The manual – which is the typical horrible Chinese product manual – does not mention when the charger will restart. The manual also does not mention the ‘Standby’ mode which is labelled next to the green LED.
The fan seems runs whenever the unit is supplying current, not when thermal conditions require it.
Update:
I contacted TimeUSB and asked when the charger is supposed to resume charging on its own. I received a fairly quick response from TimeUSB. They stated that the charger will resume charging when the battery discharges to 12V.
I also asked about the ‘Trickle Function’ mentioned in the listing. Their response was, essentially, that they have redefined ‘Trickle’ to mean what is usually labelled as ‘Absorption’ in other, more sophisticated chargers – where the current tapers to near zero at the end of the charge. This charger does not have anything like a ‘Trickle’ mode or ‘Float’ mode at all. Instead it just shuts off and waits for the battery to nearly fully discharge.
We exchanged a couple of emails. I would rate the support as very good. I was pleased that they responded promptly and thoughtfully.
In summary, you cannot use this charger in unattended applications and expect your battery to be in a ready-to-go state at any given time. You’d have to check periodically and then intervene to trick it into charging another single cycle. If I keep it, I will probably connect it to an outboard timer to initiate a charge cycle once a day or every few days to keep the battery not fully charged, but at least somewhere near 90% charged most of the time.
Great charger to use to occasionally recover or charge a LiFePo battery. The Anderson connectors make it super easy to hook it up and unhook it. It is missing a key feature if you want to use it for a roll-your-own standby power system.

Works as described, I haven’t used a lot yet but so far it’s done a great job changing my LifePO4 battery.

Liked the Anderson connectors very well made got this to charge my lithium battery for my trolling motor

This thing has been a great little charger for my current size bank. I have 2 200AH Pros which are supposed to have an extra 30AH per battery which would total 460AH in parallel as they’re wired up to be which should equal about 5,888WH total. They can handle up to 100 amps to charge but the 20 seems more than good enough considering I have very little power consumption in my cabin. I now have a big generator that I got for a steal just because they couldn’t start it and that was a such easy fix for me as expected. $1549 MSRP and I only paid $454 for a 12000 watt generator dual fuel. The reason I mention it is because it has its own DC charging port on the generation itself that produces 8.3 amps at 12v so that’ll greatly increase the speed in which I can charge the bank back up by about 6 hours from completely dead. They never get below 80-90% charge for me though because I mean for it to be that way to increase the longevity of the batteries. Gonna add another 500 watts on panels to my array and max out my cheapo charge controller for PV input at 12v bring my 800 watt array to a 1.3Kw array. But I would highly recommend anything from TIMEUSB as their customer service was absolutely excellent and the products are great for the price point. Definitely will be buying more batteries and things from them!
