Ordered these for my car remote. This kit comes with 2 batteries, screwedriver, pick and plastic wedge, which makes opening remote casings easier. While specifically made for certain car remotes, the batteries and the accessories could easily be used with other remotes or device that employ a cr2032. Great!

A lot of car manufacturers, including Honda, use the CR2032 lithium battery for their key fobs, and this pack supplies two of them, along with a tool to help get the key fob open. This saves you the trouble and expense of taking the key fob to a dealer or repair shop when the battery inside it dies. The one thing to be careful about is the placement of the battery within the fob. Make sure you have the positive and negative terminals going in the right direction, and that you put the new battery in exactly the same position as the battery you took out. You definitely will NOT want to take the key fob apart again to change the position of the battery once you have put it together again.

ITEM: uuam 2 Pack CR2032 Remote Key Fob Battery Replacement
PROS:
– The batteries work well. I rarely have to change mine in the first place, so it’s hard to tell how long they’ll last; but at least two weeks, haha.
– It comes with some tools to help open the fob.
NEUTRALS:
– The key fob opening accessories are unnecessary – the fobs are designed to be opened with the built-in key (at least for a 2017 HRV).
CONS:
– None.
WOULD I PURCHASE?: Probably not, but this isn’t to the fault of the product. While it’s a handy kit, there’s cheaper bulk backs available and I find the tools unnecessary. At $11.99 (at the time of writing), I find these overpriced (by double or more) when compared to similar products.
CONCLUSION: While there is nothing wrong with these batteries or performance, the kit is unnecessary (most fobs are designed to be opened utilizing their key) and are overpriced when compared to similar.

Fits in our car remote key and works so far. I will update the review later when the battery dies (if I remember) with how long it lasts. Right now it’s in a remote that I only use once a week and it was installed on 4/19/24.
The pack came with a blue triangle device but there were no instructions stating what it’s for. I think it’s to help pop out the old battery from the holder in the remote. It’s definitely not strong enough to use to pry open the remote; I still needed a coin or utensil to do that.

I guess I didn’t realize when I purchased this item that it was more than just the correct battery to fit my Honda key fob. It is actually a complete kit. It comes with two screw drivers, a plastic battery holder/also used to help pry the two halves of the fob apart, and two batteries. These items made changing the battery a snap and for a fraction of the cost of having it done at the car dealership.
