Old blower motor in my 2013 Tacoma vibrated badly at the high settings – turned out to have a crack in the rotor. Installation of the MAYASAF replacement initially seemed straightforward and easy. However, one of the three screw locations (the one on the left side) proved to be a problem. The material was a wee bit too thick so that the screw could not get purchase in the backing material. Necessitated a trip to the hardware store for a longer version of the screw. Quite a few four letter words involved, but works fine now that it’s installed. Quieter than the original ever was with good airflow.

Easy for anyone to install in the Tacoma, however the noise level is terrible. Not sure if it’s the blower design or bearings. The price was so low, I am just planning on dealing with it for now and time will tell if the bearings fail prematurely.
