The shifts are shorter and you get to keep 100$ in your pocket. Btw this is NOT an easy install on an old rusty ek eg etc. takes some time but not the shifters fault great quality for 20$

Even tho the title states for Acura Integra 90-01, I bought it for my 1993 Civic Si Hatch (EG). Fit is perfect and went on with no issues. The dual bend isn’t like the picture shows, which is kind of disappointing because I was hoping for a good bend like a OEM integra or for example the Skunk 2 or BMC dual bend. The bend is very slight but it is there, just not like I have wanted. Off the bat it looks like any other Ebay aluminum short throw shifter but its pretty heavy and looks well built. Megan racing states it is steel alloy which it appears to be. Over all, for under 30 bucks I am pleased with the shifter. It will serve it’s purpose.

Wasnt expecting it to be this good, slide right in, hardware fit as it should and totally transformed the car. The old vague floppy shifter is now a tight firm experience each and every shift.

Just dont over tighten the crossbolt too much like i did the first time. I had to snug/unsnug for a minute until i got it right where i wanted it, i like a very firm solid shifter and this got it just how i wanted it

Get shift bushings at the same time so u only take things apart once, i used the energy suspension bushings and had plenty of grease for all the bushings and the shifter ball

I didn’t like the bearing design. It’s an exposed needle bearing that rides on the bolt so you have to snug tighten shifter bolt to the linkage with doing so the shifter rattles/shakes with the engine idle. Spend the money and get a skunk2 or a ktuned that has a proper bearing design.

Absolutely perfect on my 97 B16a2 Del Sol. It fits like a glove and the shifts are so nice now, very short which is awesome! Great heavy duty and pretty heavy, it’s a 5 star buy for me.

Bought this to reduce shift throw and it has worked fine since installing. Installation took under 2 hours due to inexperience and installing new shifter bushings. To install this on a stock d16y7 you just need the 1 washer and to put grease where the shifter links with the arm, and not to tighten too much or it’ll become a rough shift experience. Main problem for a stock civic is that it sits an inch or 2 lower, causing the shift knob to almost ruin the shift boot. I also recommend a taller shift knob but it’s preference.

Actually steel, magnet sticks to it so not the cheap aluminum ones known to snap/break also the pivot ball is the correct size and has no slop in the bushing/cage like some other cheap ones. It’s a heavier shifter but I see that as a positive. The only thing I don’t like is the bolt that comes with it, on the non threaded part is not long enough so the threads run across part of the inner bearings. I’ll just pick up a nice grade 8 that fits better at the hardware store or maybe reuse the oem bolt on the car.

Has a nice weight to it. Bought to replace a broken Chinesium shifter. My only worry is the bolt it comes with is a little short with the washers included, and I’ll update if it leaves me stranded. The spacer and the shifter bracket is what protects the bearings, I’m not worried about it. Shifts short and crisp, might hit your exhaust, didn’t hit my 2.5 inch exhaust. Double bend not as extreme as the stock Integra, but still in a nice position. Fit my 1994 Civic EX just fine.
