Purchased for a 2003 Ford Focus 2.0L Zetec engine. All signs pointed to a bad ignition coil pack. Installed and car ran much better for about 100 miles, then it got worse. Replaced this again with a different (and more costly) brand and fixed the problem – car runs like a champ again. Sorry, but the quality built into this item just isn’t there, so caveat emptor. Remember, you get what you pay for.

Great quality product. I bought this coil for a number of reasons. This product is designed and manufactured in the USA, comes with a 1 year warranty, and for $25 shipped ($25 LESS than O’Reilly’s for some Chinese crap!) you can’t beat it! I bought this product because my 2004 Ford Focus SVT was misfiring, even after $1500 worth of parts and labor. If your Focus is having a misfiring issue, DO NOT HESITATE TO BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!!! The Focus is known for having their ignition coil packs go out over time, and they are a REGULAR maintenance item just like the spark plugs, filters, etc.

I used this part on my Mazda b2300 (Basically a ford ranger) has the 2.3 4cyl in it and the truck runs better than ever now. It’s half the price of auto parts stores and does the same job totally worth the wait

Works and fits.

Update: it’s been 4 months and it’s still going strong, zero issues. Guess I didn’t need to order a backup after all.
So far this thing works great. It fit my 2003 Ford Focus ZX5 perfectly. The local shops all wanted at least $80 bucks for this coil, brand names of course. But this one for the price works great. I’m ordering a 2nd one as a backup just in case, I don’t want to be stranded again. Since two is still cheaper than one locally you can’t go wrong. I will update in about 6 months if it still works great. If not then I’ll update when it stops working.
Update 2 months, May 2021: so far so good. I drive a lot of miles, I’ve put 5k on this coil with zero issues. I have a backup in the trunk just in case but I don’t think I will need it. Update later.

I was skeptical of using this product since I have not heard of them. However for the price I decided to give them a try. The coil pack came in 2 days earlier than expected, the install took about 15 min and I was back on the road. I would defintely buy from these guys again.
Note: this is a 4-year update. Well almost 4 years, I am pleased to say that this product is still working on my car has not failed me yet.

1st one was bad but amazon replaced. Been running for a while now.

The only tricky part was to release the electrical connector latch (just squeeze the spring string at the bottom of the cable connector upwards toward the connector body and you’ll see the the latches released)
It’s really a five plugs + four screws job (some Fords use two screws to mount it, but I am sure the dealership would charge the same $760 for replacement).
Well – some lever for unscrewing may be needed and use only T-25 tip.
If you ever used Lego – you are more trained and qualified for this part replacement than Ford mechanics.
I suspect they are asking for covering some training or tuition cost so to be able doing a simple work – so their price is so high.
I am almost sure what they can’t figure out what the numbers 1 3 2 4 mean on the top of the Coil Pack – that’s why they need training. Or, perhaps, it takes them 4 hours to read 4 numbers.
In case if a Ford mechanic reads it: it’s a pattern for the cylinder number to be connected. And the cylinder numbers go from 1 to 4 from the passenger side to driver side. Now you know it, so please stop ripping people off.

Oh! Yeah!
If you experience stalling engine problem with your Ford on stop lights and you don’t see the “Check Engine” light ON – do NOT waste time and money at dealership.
It’s a normal condition for Ford – to stop letting the fuel in at idle. The Ford mechanics will charge you for everything possible and beyond, but not for the fix of the problem.
Ask me:
It’s a 8 dollars fix (9 if you buy the solution from Amazon)

this device fixed the Focus,,but failed in less than 2 months,,suggest spend a little more and get a better longer lasting product
