I didn’t smell the difference

Works as a filter, but not scented as described. Opened up package (which had the febreeze logo on it) and had zero scent, so the extra money wasn’t worth it.

The filter itself works fine, once you get it into the housing. This was my 2nd purchase of this part number. The first went in without too much of a fight. This time, this one fought back. I finally managed to force it in. Then I went to the Purolator site. The correct part number for a RAM 1500 DT is 25858. It is 1/8” shorter on one side and 1/16” shorter on the other. I looked up the correct part number on Amazon. Guess what, Amazon said it fit. But they showed the other one as “recommended”. What a shock, as of 2/9/2025, the wrong filter is almost $2 more than the correct one.

it went into my 2011 Dodge Avenger easily without any tools, since the design is straightforward on how to get to the cabin filter and change it out, and it works reasonably well with odor control but don’t expect this to be “incredible”, smells from a road-killed skunk will still get inside, other than that it does the job.
