I like to replace these every time I change the oil on my GMC Yukon. It is amazing how dirty this filter can get after just a few months driving in the city — it’s almost black from the particulates in the air. Don’t pay a repair shop to change it, it’s easy to do it yourself. After you get the hang of it, it takes 5 minutes to change the filter. My trick is to just remove one of the screws that holds the plastic access cover near the passenger’s feet, and I leave the other one a bit loose. Then I give it a strong pull and rotate this plastic cover out of the way so I can get to the filter area. Just make sure the arrow on the filter is pointing the right away.

I’m embarrassed to admit that I did not know that I had a cabin air filter. I just thought that my old GMC truck had ripened after 20 years. Once I found out I decided to put in a new filter and selected Purolator. These fit perfectly. Its not an easy job but at least these filters did their part well and the end result is clean fresh-smelling air.

Does not fit my 2006 Sierra 2500. There is no compartment where this will fit. It says that it is a good fit for my truck but it is not. That’s why I’m giving one.

Perfect fit with the DIY retrofit conversion kit I added to my truck
a few years back, as GM deleted installing them at the factory a long time ago.
Cabin filter is located under dash on passenger side, above the kick panel
which must be removed.
I will be ordering this particular filter going forward as it has a
much better fit and quality than the other brands I’ve previously used.
Side Note: The single cabin filters, rather than the twin smaller ones which come with this
product, will not fit this type of modified application as they are to large to install.

I had to spend 10 minutes sorting through cabin filters to eliminate Chinese products from my list. I was excited to find out this was made in Germany and not in the sweat shops of the CCP!! Fits perfectly by the way and there’s two in a box. What a great value!

I have to take off a few stars because the 2006 Silverado 2500 has a sealed cabin filter which you can’t change without cutting it open! Amazon said this fit my model, but by the time I realized it, it was too late to return them. I gave it two stars because they looked like good quality filters, but were totally unusable in my truck.

Fits my 2003 Chevy Trailblazer EXT 4×4 perfectly. After 2003 Chevy stopped putting in the cabin air access panel. They do have an aftermarket access panel you can install. All you have to do is cut out the opening (heavy plastic) USE CAUTION A/C HEATER CORE located just to the side of where you need to cut. Multi tool likely best tool option. Have a professional technician cut and install.

I bought this for my 2006 GMC Sierra Denali, which is on the list of applicable vehicles. However, according to a GMC mechanic on line, they discontinued using cabin filters around 2003. Instead, they pass air through the AC coil and the condensate cleans it and flushes it out.
