Seems to be a perfect fit. Confusion as to how to insert. Arrow on plastic indicates upward placement (same as original) even though air flow is downward. You can see this on the end that goes in first. These directions are not on the package, but is on the website.

I bought this for my 2008 Suzuki SX4 Sport. I didn’t want to pay what the dealer was asking and this was much cheaper. It looks almost identical to the original filter and is easy to install. It has a notch on one side & an arrow so you know which way to install it. For a charcoal filter that’s made specifically for the car, it’s a fantastic price.

This particular filter, was one of the “carbon” infused filters which work much better with external odors and suck. I was pleased to find it, since few local places stock them for my girlfriends Suzuki. It was absolutely one of the easiest tasks I’ve done in a while. The filter works great too..

Purchased this from amazon because it was cheaper than auto zone. Took it out of box and it fit perfectly in
my 2013 Suzuki SX4. Won’t hesitate to reorder when needed.

This filter fit perfectly into my 2007 Suzuki SX4. This particular year of SX4 does not come with a cabin air filter, just a plastic mold where one should go. Installation took literally 2 minutes. On the 07 model open the glove box, squeeze the top of both sides until the glove box opens all the way (past the stoppers which is why you are squeezing). You will see a rectangle with 4 tabs. Pull it out and discard. Insert the new filter arrow pointed down until it clicks into place. Close the glove box, once again squeezing to bypass the stoppers. And done!

I purchased the Fram cabin filter for my 2009 Suzuki SX4 sedan after being quoted $65.00 for dealer replacement. Actual time to replace filter is approximately 15 minutes. Fram’s filter fits exactly and is actually a better filter than Suzuki’s dealer OEM part. Amazon’s price is good and with super save shipping you cannot go wrong. So- don’t pay inflated dealer prices and do the job yourself. It will save you $40.00.

Another product that I cannot find in stores where I live (Pittsburgh, PA). Therefore, I had to make my purchase on Amazon. The product is definitely overpriced and the directions that come with the product are practically nonexistent. I know, it’s as simple as removing the old cabin air filter and sliding this one in its place, right? Wrong. The air filter that was already in place was either put in wrong (was the original filter from when I purchased the car, I know, ick) or the directions that came with my new filter were wrong as they contradicted each other.
Regardless, installation on my car is easy as pie (mmm, can you tell it’s dinner time?) as I only had to remove two screws to take off my glove box, remove said filter, and plug in the new one. Not all cars are this easy.

Please don’t think we’re pigs, we didn’t know! We didn’t know that our car had an interior air filter. When we found out, we bought this and replaced it. What we found was gross, gross gross gross. Really glad we changed it. Our air conditioner wasn’t working very well, and once we changed it, the airflow was terrific. We were going to take the car in to get the air-conditioning fixed, all it needed was this new air filter.

it fit perfectly in the SX4 Sedan however it would not lock in place… thus it would slide out of place… sigh…
not sure if it is a defect but i love how fresh the air has been since i put it in…. would have to use sticky tape to keep it in place till i replace it….
would i buy it again? doubt, do not want to take the chance of getting another one that would not lock into place
Amazon Customer –
Purchased these on Amazon as it was slightly cheaper than what was being offered at Canadian Tire at the time. The shipping was fast with Prime and I was able to get it installed in my car within 4 days of ordering. With that said, this is a great component to be replacing every now and then (after an inspection of the current on board one).
With that said, after a lot of research, I have come to the consensus that most people find these FRAM cabin air filters to be better than the OEM ones in the 2007 SX4. And usually this cohort doesn’t agree on much, and most always tout OEM as the holy grail when requiring to replace parts in their car. This is saying something about these. The construction of these filters are definitely up to par, if not, superior to the originals.
After installing them into my car, which originally had a slight smoker smell, the interior odour has improved. While not all of the smell has disappeared, as that would take a miracle or a thorough carpet clean, I would say that my car does smell much better and noticeably airier. The air that comes out of the vents are very neutral, and don’t smell like much. All in all, I would say that these are great and definitely worth the pickup.
