Doesn’t leak but you can’t get the fitting over the outer sheath like in their video, just the braided stainless!

So far so good just got the most of my system plumbed and makes a big difference in the outcome. I would absolutely buy again. Everything seemed to be made of really good materials. The wrench is an absolute must to not damage or scratch the fittings when installing. And there is plenty of hose to do a lot of line. If you are on the fence I wasted money trying to avoid upgrading to the AN hose systems but I will never go back.

After post a one star review of the Brifitor I was contacted by the seller and was giving 100% refund! Also I was not asked to remove my one star review. So I changed my review to three stars, because they do care about customer support, this is unusual for most seller on Amazon.
I bought this kit to add an aux transmission cooler to my 3500 Sprinter van camper (Mercedes). I watched several videos on u-tube on how to use these AN lines and fittings, I had not used AN fittings before. After starting the project I found that I needed more PTFE line. I ordered the line off eBay best price for 30 ft. When it arrived I found it had a smaller OD than the kit line (Brifitor).(1st photo Brifitor= 12mm OD/ 2ed photo eBay & Evil Energy=11mmOD) Thinking the line from eBay (11mm OD) was not up to spec., I contacted Brifitor via Amazon to order more line ( I was told they do not sell only the line or the fittings, only the kits) So I ordered more line from a seller on Amazon (Evil Energy) when the line arrived I found it had the same OD as the one ordered from eBay (11mm OD). I made two 1ft lines/fittings from the Brifitor kit, which was very difficult to get the fittings to seal on the line. For the rest of the project I used the line from eBay (11mm OD) and used the fitting I had order off Amazon from Ucreative (bought many fittings from them, they were cheapest and sold in packs of 6x). Also not only were the lines from Brifitor different but so where the compression nuts they sold ( Brifitor = 8mm deep nut threads and Ucreative 11mm deep nut threads) Found this out when I tried to use the 8mm deep Brifitor nut and it striped out when I tried to tighten onto the male fitting, can only partially tighten them compared to to the 11mm nuts which you can bottom out. In addition the kit contained many fittings that I did not need for the project .(see last photo) The adjustable wrench that came with the kit are poor quality ,exception was the tool that spreads open the PTFE line, it worked well and can be used again , good quality. So I only used 2 ft of the 25ft line from Brifitor, since it will not work with other fittings, it is useless and will need to be trashed. I was told on videos from eBay that you should only use AN lines and fittings from the same manufacturer but found out the hard way this is true, wasting my lots of time and money. Since Brifitor products will not work with other suppliers and the only sell whole kits, I would recommend you buy from Evil Energy or Ucreative (only sells AN fittings not line?) Another problem I ran into was I needed to connect the AN lines to the 10mm stainless steel transmission hard lines, the sleeves used to connect the 37degree flares to the hard line were too small because they are 3/8″ ID not 10mm ID, I order the nuts and sleeves from Amazon (3/8″ID). Ok fine I thought I could order the 10mm sleeves from Amazon or Ebay, none to be found all 3/8″, since all AN fitting (developed by the Army and Navy to standard all their lines) or SAE. After search for these 10mm sleeves I only found one company that listed them , they had to come from Germany and the were $5.00 each , but the 3 weeks shipping of these small shelves was going to be $200.00! Luckily I found them in stock at McMaster-Carr for $21.00 EACH,(50715K372 parts #) so ~$60.00 (with shipping) for two shelves that should cost couple dollars each. Chinese manufactures could easily make these sleeves along with the SAE. Hay the Chinese use the metric system after all, listen up AN Chinese manufacturers .

This worked great, and I could not have been happier. Unfortunately, the car started overheating shortly afterward, and even the dealer could not figure out why. They replaced it with a different vehicle. I would buy this again anytime if I were to repair or upgrade the lines.

no chamfer on the fittings, the worst AN fittings I have ever purchased, got them since they were availible next day. I only have had issues. Keep in mind I have been using only PTFE lines for race applications for years so not my first rodeo. Hose is alright a little elastic but its o. the fittings though throw them away!
