I replaced so many parts trying to figure out why my car wouldn’t start when warm. The car has never failed to start on the first try since I replaced this and the vacuum line. Don’t cheap out on this part, use OEM only.

for those who don’t know , hard starting and poor fuel use and more is caused by this being faulty , this is 100% perfect part and fit , note be sure to use a small tip ring plier tool , would buy this part again/

My car had 135k on it and I was replacing the fuel pump and wanted to make sure the rest of my fuel delivery system was in good shape. The old one fell apart in my had when I removed it so it was time to replace it. This was a quality replacement and was made of better material then the one I removed.

Perfect fit for 2004 Buick LeSabre. Comes with all hardware needed to do a factory replacement of this part. Recommend you watch a Competent U-tube video on some of the little tricks that make this go faster, a 10 minute job.

Still haven’t got them and my car messed up more because they have not arrived to me yet intake blew up because the fuel regulator was bad if I would have got it on time this wouldn’t have happened all I did was try to start the car and because the regulator was bad built too much pressure so the intake blew

Literally just put this in my car 2NOV16 6:07PM, fired right u and with my Innova fuel pressure gauge, it reading 46+ psi during idle, static pressure with KOEO was 48 psi and when I snap the throttle it regulates upwards of 53-59 psi which is the specification in my All data subscription.
My 2003 3.8L Impala was hard starting, not to hard but I noticed a difference building up over a period of 6 months where it went from instant start to about 5-6 turns of the crank before it turned over, My fuel gauge read about 42 lbs, now it fires right up and I have correct pressure.
I also noticed that after KOEO my pressure would go to 42psi and then rapidly drop, which it should not, it should hold that pressure, so that meant, either my fuel pump check valve leak, injector leak or the regulator itself. I removed the return line clamped on a rubber hose put the rubber hose into a large bucket and did a KOEO and then immediately clamped of the rubber hose I added on the return line such that the fuel line would hold pressure.You could just clamp off the hose first but you chance hitting a high pressure that will damage your fuel system even just doing KOEO (key on engine off) so that is not advised. Definitely do not clamp the hose with KOER (engine running) run the engine when you are dumping gas into the bucket. It doesn’t matter much what the pressure is when you clamp off the line, you just want to see if you lose pressure, if it does, then its points to the check valve or stuck fuel injector.
Also if you do lose pressure, do not keep repeating the test as if your injector is leaking you may hydrolock you engine by constantly injecting fuel without engine running, if you do, you have to remove your spark plugs and let it evaporate a good long time before starting. Don’t mean to be writing a book on troubleshooting here. Do you own diligence before running any tests on your car.
Anyway happy again now that my car starts up right away and I’m probably getting better gas mileage now and car is running as it should.
BTY the clip is not needed or used on all systems, certainly not needed on mu Impala, did not come from factor that way, but you can still add it for comfort if you please, its the snap ring that hold the regulator down, the clip doesn’t hold it down but will prevent it from ever fully popping off, like when being smashed by a Trex come back from the past.
