This cable, although it was listed as the correct part for my 97 F150, was about two inches longer than the stock cable. I had to modify the cable bracket to make it fit as there is not enough adjustment to make up the difference. No where close to OEM quality but is also cheaper. It does work and I maybe a little to critical considering the price difference between this cable and the Ford replacement price.

Broke my old one while messing around with the neutral safety switch. Install was definitely a process, I had to drop my steering column but it only took about 30 minutes. There is videos out there and some manuals likely have this process in them too. After that, the shifter was slick and I knew exactly which gear I was going into.

Plastic clips r junk wont stay in place the peice that has the tab that locks in the collum is garbage wont lock in and was crimped on wrong honestly 1 star is to much for this part dont waste your money or your time waiting for this part
