I have an older vehicle that doesn’t have Apple CarPlay, so need a phone mount in my field of view to use navigation. Before ordering this product, I had a clip-on style wireless charger that would charge inconsistently in cold weather and occasionally pulled off the vent. This charger is a significant improvement over that design.
For starters, it includes a bayonet and clip-on style mounts. I recommend the bayonet style if your car supports it because it provide the most secure fit (note: do not move the vent louvers with the mount installed, you risk breaking the vent which is generally not a cheap repair). The ring light is visible when you do not have the phone installed and you can select from several colors. I was able to pick an orange-reddish color that matched my cabin lighting. The MagSafe mount is very strong and kept my phone in place (note that your case is a factor in the hold strength – I use Mous and my wife has a Rhinoshield. Both required some good effort to remove the phone from the mount).
Neither the product description nor documentation mentions the charging standard used, but I think I may have been getting a full 15W wireless charge on my iPhone 15 Pro on iOS 17.2.1. I say this because the display showed a different charging animation like you see with the Apple MagSafe charger and it also seemed to be faster than other 3rd party wireless chargers that I own (which do not show this animation – they simply indicate that the phone is charging). Charging worked fine in cold weather.
The only bummer is that the actual 12v power adapter is NOT included, but you can easily find QC 3/4/5 standard chargers for around $10 on Amazon.

I was excited to get this wireless charger to use in our new vehicle. We travel back and forth from the Midwest to Florida several times a year and all I have is a charger that has to be plugged in. It’s a pain to plug in and then annoying working around the wire. I thought this was the perfect solution until I tried it. First of all, the instruction booklet is written in only Chinese, so there’s no way of knowing how to use it, if it comes fully charged, etc. I assumed it needed charging, so I plugged it in and waited overnight to get it fully charged. I then had to figure out how to attach the phone to the clip that goes in the car vent. It wasn’t too difficult, and I got in attached rather quickly. I have a Galaxy S23 Ultra with a protective case, and when I tried to attach it to the charger, it fell off. Okay, no big deal. I thought I just had to take it out of the protective case. Not ideal, but it wasn’t a deal breaker. I took it out of the case, put it up to the magnet and let go and my phone fell to the ground. I know it can be wirelessly charged because I have a wireless charger in my bedroom, and it works just fine. The magnet on this charger is not strong at all and won’t hold my phone. Therefore, I can’t comment on how fast it charges and how long the charger’s battery lasts before you have to charge it again. I gave it 2 stars versus 1 because it would be great if your phone does work with it. It has 2 different attachments for various car vents, and they’re both easy to attach. It seems to be a good quality charger; I was just very disappointed that this isn’t going to work with my phone. It says in the description that the wireless charging is also available for Galaxy models with wireless charging capability, which describes the Galaxy S23 Ultra but it just doesn’t work.

You need to get a 12v power adapter for this separately but they are available everywhere and it is a small additional cost.
This is a well built device that works and does what it advertises. The magnet is strong and holds the phones I tried with it to test it. The largest/ heaviest phone I tried with this was a iPhone 15 plus in a bulky case. It held well and charged through the bulky Otterbox case with no problem. I also tried several other smaller / lighter phones: Google Pixel 5, Samsung Galaxy and an iPhone 11. All held well and charged pretty quickly (although the Apple and Samsung phones seemed to charge a bit faster than the Pixel, but not by much).
I use this for GPS on my phone in my older car. It is simple to set up and very secure. It mounts onto the vent louvers for heat/ AC so you can’t really adjust them after it is in place, but that is obviously to be expected. Just a heads up in case that bothers you though. To be as objective and fair as possible, I am trying to think of any possible cons so just that this is all I can think of should tell you a lot. I’ll update this review if any issues do come up during daily use in the next few months. Seems quite durable though so I don’t think there will be any issues.
Aside from functionality, I think the design looks clean. I like the the LED feature. You can cycle htorugh a few colors to choose from. It looks cool (just for aesthetics for the most part, although it is helpful also to show when the phone is magnetically connected, etc.).
Also a note not about the product but that was a nice bonus: Arrived super quickly.

I like the look of the charger but as far as I can tell there’s no way to turn the light off when plugged in. On my morning commute I’m partially blinded because it’s so bright. When I come out to the car it’s still lit, even when the car is off and hasn’t been used. Wish there was an option to turn the light off. Additionally, my phone gets really hot when charging. I can never get it to fully charge because it gives me a notice saying the phone is too hot. This is the only magnetic charger that does this to my phone.
