I was hesitant to buy this since I was not sure if I could use my iOttie Tap 2 Wireless Qi phone holder with it. My iOttie Tap2 attaches to a ball joint from the vent clip it came with, and this product attaches its phone holder to a ball joint that attaches to the LCD frame. Given Amazon’s free return policy, I went ahead and ordered. To my pleasant surprise, the ball joint fit perfectly to the iOttie Tap2, and now the A/C vent that was blocked is now usable!!! I do believe that the ball joints for these phone mounts are all the same size to ensure universal fit which is nice. I should’ve bought this a long time ago.

Great fitment , also has universal mount and can be used with other phone mounts . Installation takes 30 seconds , just make sure you prep with rubbing alcohol swab. Positioning is spot on ! It’s a Win.

I love my Q5. It has only two shortcomings: (1) no touch-screen; and (2) no natural place to put your phone. Because of #1, #2 becomes more of an issue…you’ll probably be using your phone a lot in an older Q5. This product solves the problem perfectly. It fits right over your infotainment screen and gives you a little phone cradle at exactly the height you’re used to. There’s no blockage of vents or your forward vision, and the “installation,” if you even when to call it that, is about a 15-second affair. It’s a great, simple solution.

Had this thing for just over 4 months. Today, It just snapped off at the ball, and my phone fell to the floorboard while I was driving. I wouldn’t mind a replacement. it’s a pretty good product. I super glued it back together. I’ll keep you posted if that works or not. Really, if you could just send me that one piece that broke I would be happy and change this review.

Best Amazon purchase EVER. For reference: 2021 Audi Q5 premium plus quattro
This had been in my cart & on prime day, I purchased it because it was slightly lower priced at $25. Had I known how much of a game changer it was going to be, I would have purchased it long ago.
Audi’s have 2, not very user friendly cupholders. One was being utilized for my phone. I saw this screen mount phone holder and loved the idea of freeing up my other cupholder.
It arrived in a zippered bag and all you have to do is remove it, place on top of your “MMI” screen and lightly push down. It is a perfect fit. Kudos to whoever measured for these…. no rattling, no noise, nice & snug.
Then you attach the phone clip & holder. It’s easy to adjust the placement height and has a pretty broad area of adjustment.
The phone holder has a base & 2 side pieces that smoothly slide to accommodate for the width of your phone. (I have a Samsung Galaxy S20).
One the phone is in the holder, there is NO MOVEMENT! Potholes, back roads, speedbumps…. does not matter. It’s sturdy & no rattling or noises!
I absolutely LOVE this thing! I don’t know why Audi hasn’t reached out to acquire these for all of their vehicles!
If there is ANY doubt in your mind about purchasing this…. trust me, just purchase it!
It’d gladly pay triple what I paid, now that I know how much of a game changer it is!

Its not true about the size. It was supposed to fit my 2018 audi q7 and its for a small screen
