I was cautious to purchase this unit as I had another that although it looked good, magnets were not up to the job and no way was I going to ride around in my golf cart with my $1200 dollar max sized phone attached to the cart roof metal upright. It barely held my phone up not moving. Not the case with the ZOEA holder, magnet is super strong and my phone is heavy. I tested on my refrigerator door and slammed it several times. Didn’t move at all. I will be out on the course in two weeks and feel confident trying this unit on a bumpy cart path You know how it is, your trying to get to the next hole as fast as you can so you nail the cart accelerator, and the smallest of bumps make your clubs bounce. I like this concept as real estate is scarce with 2 grown men in the cart with beverages. I also have an app that uses my phone’s GPS to give me my yardage to the hole, my position on the course, and I can keep score. Anyhow my phone is right there accessible and this unit works. Great concept, nice craftsmanship! Fast shipping too

I really like the simplicity of this golf cart phone holder. There are no clamps, brackets, or screws to connect to any metal surface (like the support bars on a riding golf cart). It just sticks on and the magnet is super strong. It even comes with a couple more replacement magnets (although I can’t see why you would need them, but they’re nice to have). I suppose you could put them on the back of your cell phone for other applications.
This phone holder adjusts to fit almost any phone. I have an I-Phone 6S. It holds phones very securely. Again, the magnet is very strong so there is no way it’s falling off your cart no matter what bumps you may go over. I give this a thumbs-up.
UPDATE: Okay, so I’ve used this on the course a couple times for the purpose of seeing my golf app on my phone. Here’s the problem I’ve found: The metal frame of the riding golf cart tilts backwards. There is no way to adjust this phone holder to put the phone at a different angle. Because of the way it’s tilted downward and the glare, I can’t even read the screen. I have to downgrade it for that. This needs a gooseneck or some other way to adjust the angle of the phone. Maybe I can use this for another purpose, but for the riding carts on my course, it’s useless.

Had my phone on the magnet bracket on a golf cart. It fell off and unfortunately fell to the ground underneath the tire.

So far works pretty well. It is each to adjust and also has a strong magnet. I do love the fact it came with flat magnets so I can add them to my car and stick it to my car or even tool box.
I do however wish there was some sort of back adjustment to make it tighter. The phone will not come out but there definitely is some wiggle room as I’m sure it is meant to hold a larger case than I have on mine.

My husband wanted to start recording his swings during golf to see what he could work on. He has an iPhone 13 max and it fits perfectly even with his case on. It holds his phone in place when he wants to record or when they have videos on to watch in the background. Before he use to have to be creative on where to put his phone to record but this has helped him a lot. It’s simple to attach and detach on the golf cart for him and set up takes no time at all. The velvet bag is also a nice touch because knowing him he would just throw it in the bag with no cover. The bag helps prevent any damage to it.

I don’t drive golf carts but I do go to the gym and often use Youtube to watch instructional videos for exercises or videos with tips on doing something new and better. The problem is that I never have any place safe to put my phone and I am constantly worried about it getting stepped on, broken because a heavy weight dropped on it or simply sliding off wherever I have it sitting out of the way and ending up on the floor anyway.
NOW I CAN FINALLY PUT MY PHONE WHERE I CAN SEE IT, WHERE IT IS SAFE AND WHERE I CAN GET THE MOST USE OUT OF THOSE EXERCISE VIDEOS AND THIS ALLOWS IT TO BE HANDS FREE!
The magnet is super strong, no worries there. I almost had to pry it off to remove it from the metal it was magnetically attached to (hint: maybe take your phone out first and then pull if you can’t slide it off the machine instead). It is small, unobtrusive, easily holds my samsung galaxy note 10 plus (3″ across, 6.5″ long) BUT I will say that with the protective case on it (mine is a bit big like an otter box case), I couldn’t make it fit. So if you have a larger phone AND a heavy duty protective case on it, the case might have to be removed for this.
I can’t thank these folks enough for making this. Would absolutely recommend to every person I know who goes to a gym and uses videos as references while working out.
