Very neat vacuum suction magnetic phone mount. To explain a bit what this does because I wasn’t sure at first, this has a USB C rechargeable battery in it. When pressed against a flat surface, or the button is pressed, it will try to suction the base to the surface. Pressing the button will then release the suction. With it suctioned to a surface, you can mount your phone if it has the magnetic mount. If it doesn’t have a magnetic mount, this device does include a metal ring that you can stick to your phone case and a sticker that can cover it (I didn’t use these). This does not advertise to be water resistant so I wouldn’t leave it outside or take it in the shower. Initial tests were great. I am now testing a longer term, leave it on, test and will report back if disappointing results. Instructions say it can last a month. I took one star off only because its a little bulky, limited tilt, and wish it were water resistant. I have not planned to get 4 of them and see if I could climb a building with them. My husband enjoys this for his iPhone but when placed on our wooden desk, it looses suction every few seconds. Literally, it sound like a pencil sharpener going off when trying to suction again, every few seconds. We lasted a day with this noise and then took it off. We will try again once we move and have a different material desk to tey it on.

I’ve been using the Vacuum Phone Mount on the window of our 4Runner during road trips. It’s a magnetic mount that uses a little built-in pump to keep the suction strong over time. It automatically turns itself on and off while it’s attached, and you can hear it faintly cycling now and then. It’s not loud enough to be annoying, but it’s noticeable if the truck is quiet. The internal battery seems to run about three to four days before it needs to be charged again, depending on how often it cycles. Charging is pretty quick, taking about an hour with a regular USB cable.
Before sticking it onto the glass, I made sure to clean the window, and I’d recommend anyone do the same. The suction is strong, but any dust or grime will weaken the grip. Once it’s locked on, it holds steady. I’ve got a fairly heavy phone in a bulky OtterBox case, and this mount hasn’t let go even when we’re bouncing down rough, washboard roads out at Padre Island.
The magnetic part is solid, too—my phone doesn’t slide or wiggle even when we hit potholes. It’s been reliable without any nonsense. I’m not worried about my phone dropping.
