I’ve been using this cabin air filter for about a months now and it’s been working great, and it still is working great as of now. Before installing this cabin air filter I was having bad odor whenever I turn on AC or the heat. My car would smell like a rotten wet cloth left for dry and it was annoying every time when I turned on the AC or the heat. Ever since I installed this cabinet filter that problem is solved. I’m not having any issues with that smell and the car smells good. Although because of Nissan Altima design, it was very difficult to install.

I ordered this cabin air filter for my 2022 Nissan Altima. The product was not accompanied by installation instructions. An insert showed the manufacturer’s web address but the site did not include instructions either. I found two videos on YouTube which showed how to replace the filter on my exact model and year.
In the 2022 Altima, the filter is located behind the glove box, so the glove box must be removed to change the filter. I successfully removed the trim panel on the right and the three screws on the upper part of the glove box. The two screws below the glove box did not come out but turned freely. When I tried to remove the glove box, its top and most of its right side came free but I was unable to completely remove it. I tried several times without success. I did not want to risk breaking the glove box or its frame by applying too much force, so I reluctantly closed up without changing the filter.
The filter appears to be a high quality product. However, I was unable to complete the installation. This was not the fault of the product but was due to Nissan’s difficult replacement procedure and/or my lack of skill and experience.
This product was unscented.
