I have always used this in my bikes just because I know it works and I like the smell of it.
Anyone claiming a difference is full of it, or they just do not take very good care of their bikes. Oil tech has come a long way, but no one is going to feel a difference it all lubes the same way depending on the weight. I recommend changing your oil on how you ride and not just what your manual for the bike says. I race so I change mine about every 2-3k, but if I rode street would go the full 6k like the manual says.
This is a good product, much like all the other big names, but this stuff does smell nice so that helps.

After a lot of research and talking to countless people about their experiences on oil along with my own 10+ of riding motorcycles and nothing comes close to Motul 300V. Your transmission will shift so smooth you will find any reason to shift gears. My engines also run cooler and have better cold starts with this oil.
You will also see better throttle response and it will feel like your motorcycle gained a little more power, but it is all in your head because that’s not possible just from using a different engine oil, or is it? I thought I was imagining it so I read up on it and you can in fact gain power just by using different (better quality) oil. Superior lubrication means your engine doesn’t have to work as hard against the friction of your moving parts.
Cold stars are not hard on the engine like they are with conventional oils because of 300V’s superior lubrication. Even if you leave your motorcycle parked for several weeks there will still be sufficient lubrication for a smooth cold start while another oil would have drained to the oil pan leaving your engine unprotected during a cold start.
There is a downside to this oil, because it Motul doesn’t add any detergents to this line of oil it should be changed more frequently. Some people change it after every track day, which you should if you race. I change my oil every 45 days or 2,000 miles.
I will never use another brand in any of my motorcycles after using Motul 300V

This is my second time running motul, and I’m still in love. For some reason my bike acts a little funny right after the oil change no matter what oil I use, but it does not act up as long when I run the 300v. While I dont have a lab and cannot prove Motul’s claims regarding their oil, I get noticably smoother shifts, and the oil seems to not get dirty in the sightglass for much longer than any other type of oil I’ve used (amsoil, mobil1, etc). This is also the cheapest I’ve been able to find the 4 liter bottle, so that’s nice too.

This is plain and simple the echelon of motorcycle oil. It is the best oil for your motorbike, do NOT “save” money on your vehicle’s oil! The engine oil is a vital part of your engine’s longevity and performance, and this oil gives both. At around 65 bucks, I was able to use a bit less than half the 4 liters for my brother’s CBR250R, which means I have 2 oil changes with one bottle. The quality of this oil is simply amazing! I changed my Ninja ZX6R’s oil a few months ago after breaking it in (with this same oil), and the oil window still shows the oil as green as when I filled her up!
The guy that sold me the bike at the dealership recommended I do the oil change AWAY from the dealership, as they charge you 100 bucks for an oil change and yet use a crappy oil. I bought the oil and a good filter from the dealership (to show my good faith :D), and changed the oil easily at home. The bike runs SMOOTHLY and feels more powerful.
I’ll use MOTUL oil as long as they remain the leaders in motorcycle oil quality and price! I wish I knew of an equivalent oil for my car though…
Enjoy and keep the shiny side up!

I’ve been considering switching my 2003 Z1000 over to this oil for some time now and finally bit the bullet. The difference between this and Mobil1 4T Racing oil was noticeable immediately. Warm up time was slightly quicker than usual, average running temp during an hour ride was ~190F compared to an average of ~200F with Mobil1. Neutral has been a bit tricky to slip into for years with the Mobil1 and with the Motul it pops right into neutral no problem. The clutch has been slipping enough to warrant looking into new friction plates for a few oil change intervals now, with the Motul the clutch is engaging precisely when it should and there is no longer any noticeable slippage. As a side note this oil is a fluorescent chartreuse color and smells eerily similar to Gatorade. Time will tell how well this oil holds up and I’ll update the review if anything changes, but so far I would highly recommend this oil for anyone out there who is skeptical like I was due to price!

I have been using this on my 2015 Yamaha FJR1300 for a couple of years now and it love it. The bike runs great with this oil, my bike gets run pretty hard and for long distances 4 -1000 mile and 1-1500 mile Ironbutt rides, she doesn’t burn any oil between changes. My bike takes one bottle with the oil filter being changed. This oil has a nice greenish color to it, I call it Alien Blood.
