works well, build quality is amazing, easy to install and remove, works better than the larger circle ones due to the size vs the magnet plate

Can’t complain, this was a very good buy!
It is quite durable, discrete and quite easy to install. Love it.

This product is very well designed, it is durable, and the magnet is very strong. I got into a car accident with this mount, and not only did my phone stay in place with no damage, the mount also works perfectly after the accident and I am continuing to use it in my current vehicle.
As you can tell in my photo, the mount clips to your HVAC vents in your car and you just slap your phone on it without needing to adjust it or mess with it. If you ever need to access your phone while driving, it’s very easy to just grab your phone without having to press buttons on the mount to unclip it.

The Magnet is strong, the mount to the vent is secure but the swivel is weak. The circular Ring nut will crack when you keep tighten it. I fixed it by securing it with Super Glue. I don’t need my phone to move around so this was fine with me

Reviewing: LISEN 2021 Upgraded Clip Magnet Phone Holder
If you’re interested in any negative thoughts you can scroll to the bottom to see what little negative I think there is.
Grips my dash vent unlike any other I’ve tried – and I’ve tried about 4 other brands/types. All the others grip reasonably well at first, then completely lose it and start slipping after a month or so. I’m willing to accept some compromise with a vent holder because it sits at just the right spot for me. Well, this holder is no compromise in the way it grips the vent fins – it is rock solid! It really is meant for only certain types of vents, so pay attention to any compatibility notes. FWIW, I have this in a Mazda 6 (2014).
I’ve tried other holder types that grab the phone and I just find them bulky. Personal preference is the magnetic. This particular magnet *feels* just slightly weaker than other brands I’ve tried, but it has proven to be just as solid in holding my phone as the others. Not really sure why this one *feels* weaker than the other magnets, maybe because I don’t get that ‘snap’ as the magnet pulls it in, like I did with others. I’ve never had an issue with the phone dropping off the magnet or twisting around due to road conditions. For reference, I live in the mountains on rough, narrow, windy roads with potholes – *never* been an issue. The only time I’ve knocked the phone off the magnet is when I’ve smacked it pretty hard with my knee and hand. Normally one-handed use – tapping swiping etc. – pretty solid!
For reference, I’m currently using this with an iPhone 12 Pro in an Apple MagSafe silicon case. The metal plate is between the phone and case. In other phones I’ve stuck the plate to the back of the phone with the adhesive, but with the MagSafe case the metal plate actually stays pretty well put. If you’re wondering if the MagSafe case is strong enough to attach to the holder without using the supplied the plate – NO! Not even close. Not the holders fault by a long shot, just not enough metal in the native phone or MagSafe case for the magnet to grab on to. Your iPhone will turn and slide off before you can even pull out of your driveway. Just drop the metal plate between the case and phone and you’re good to go. If you’re wondering if you can use wireless charging if you have that metal plate in there – sorry, I don’t know, I don’t use wireless charing. What I can say is that the iPhone still recognizes the MagSafe case even with that plate there.
As a note, I’ve also used my magnetic holders with an iPhone 7+ in a fairly thin Spigen case. Also an iPhone 6+ in a bulky Otter case. The magnetic grip has always performed well.
Now for the negative – and it’s minor. The tightening wheel for securing the tilt of the magnetic base can be a bit tricky to really tighten. I like the ratcheting tightening wheels for both the base and for the vent grip, but the space between is a bit narrow and can be tough to get your thumb and index finger between to get that last tick or 2 on the base tightener. Wasn’t an issue for the wheel on the vent piece, just on the magnetic base piece.

I had a different brand that recently broke after 2 years. This model is styled different though. A hook grabs the vent flap in the back, and then you tighten it. Very simple design. And it does not move or fall off because of the hook. The magnet hold is excellent, and it’s attractive, while unnoticeable. Seems like it was made for my Mazda! I did try it in a Toyota Tacoma and the vent flaps were too wide. Even though the holder is adjustable, it can only expand so far. Because it came in a 2 pack, I ended up putting both in my car. One for me, one for a passenger. You can’t beat this price! Two for the price of not even one! Trust me, you will not be disappointed in this purchase! Recommended by me 100%!

Best car mount for conventional cars. Quality and ease of use are nice.

These are absolutely amazing. I have a phone case that has a magnet on the back and it attaches so strongly to the magnet on this phone holder. I drive a little crazy sometimes and my phone never slides around. Love this product. 100% recommend, inexpensive, easy to use, and excellent quality 🤌🏼

I wanted a vent mount phone holder. I got this one and the more expensive Nite Ize Steelie. The Steelie is made of slightly better materials. The plastic feels more expensive and the metallic features are nice. However the magnet was not as strong as I would have liked. My phone tended to slump down on it. But the real drawback is how it attaches to the vent. It has two fins that compress around a single vent fin. This resulted in a very lose fit. But this LiSEN vent mount is much better. It has a hook that grabs the back of the vent find and a compression screw that tightens around the fin. Plus the extended surface area of the front pushes against not just one vent fin but three fins. This means it prevents the vent from moving around and produces a very tight and secure fit. It is a little hard to describe with words but it is a much more secure and better fit around the vent than the Steelie. And the magnet is stronger than the Steelie too. It holds my phone firmly in place. And for half the price as the Steelie I got two vent holders with the LiSEN plus six different metal plates to attach to the back of my phone. I don’t know why the package has six plates but it is great. I can use the extras for my extra phone cases and my wife’s phone. The LiSEN is the way to go.
