This mount is very well made. The magnet holds my phone very well. It comes with a port for your charging cord so that you can charge your phone while it’s in the mount. The cord is included in the phone kit. There is an extra magnetic ring that you can put onto the back of a case that doesn’t have a magnet included with it. This phone mount works.Perfect with Mag Stop cases.
The knob for setting the ball joint into the mount works great. Once it’s tightened, the magnetic head isn’t going to fall out of the mount. It’s very sturdy.
Overall, it’s a very good product. And I would definitely purchase again. I recommend this to anyone looking for a Mag Stop mount.

I was skeptical of the quality of this product due to the price but I was pleasantly surprised. It’s a VERY sturdy mount to the dash vents and the magnet is powerful enough to keep my phone in place even when bouncing around the oil field lease roads of north Louisiana. I highly recommend this for someone wanting a mount that doesn’t involve adhesives and lives up to its Amazon rating.

I really like how sturdy it is, the way that it attached to me vent was better than any phone mount I have used before. It is a game changer for simplicity of placing my phone somewhere and having it automatically charge. Only issue is that the charging through the magnet wirelessly is kind of slow – not frustratingly slow where it drains faster than charges but not quite as fast as when I plug my phone in. I still go with this mounting option.

It’s the time I can finally free myself from the cable connection in my car which had cause me so much trouble because the cable needs to be replaced all the time and get broken easily. This product is so reliable and a life saver for ending the horrible memories of charging in the car. Speed charging also. Efficient and stylish! Five star!

Bought this charger to make it easier to look at directions while driving. It serves the purpose and has a super strong magnet. My phone has never fallen off. Only issue I have is that it makes my phone super hot on occasion. But it’s very sturdy and super easy to install.

UPDATE:
The company reached out to me after my initial review and offered to send me a new charger along with a QC 3.0 adapter which they thought might help. After receiving the new charger it worked as intended even without the QC 3.0 which leads me to believe it’s not the adapter that was the problem at all (I had my doubts about that since I had it plugged directly into a brand new Silverado pickup…hard to believe a $2 adapter would perform better than a brand new truck but what do I know). In any event…it works, so that’s good. As such I’ll bump my 1 star review back up to a 4. It gets 2 stars back for actually working and another 1 for the customer service. It maybe could have been a 5 if it’d have worked correctly from the beginning, but I feel like it still gets docked 1 for the extra time and hassle it took to get figured out.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
I ordered and received this MagSafe charger last week. I’m using it for a brand new phone (iPhone 13) with a brand new UAG MagSafe case. The magnets are fine on the mount and the phone sits securely, so as a simple mount it’s fine. That being said, the charger is useless. As soon as I connect the phone it starts charging and the screen lights up to indicate as such and then goes back into standby. 10 seconds later it’ll stop charging. The screen lights up to indicate that too. Then it’ll reconnect. The screen lights up again. Then disconnect. Again the display lights up. Over and over and over. Thinking maybe it was the case, I took that off and connected just the phone with no case. It continued to do the same thing. It’s not for lack of connection between the charger and the case or the charger and the phone directly…the phone never moves. So why does it disconnect from charging? The 10 seconds at a time that it charges before disconnecting isn’t enough to overcome the constant display activation so it never even charges, it only maintains the currently battery level (at best)…nevermind the fact that it is a major distraction while driving.
Sorry, but only being useful as a holder and not as a charger does not justify the additional cost when there are other mount-only options out there that’ll do that for half the price. This product gets 1 star and 5 thumbs down from me.
