The connectivity of this product is simple and smooth. It doesn’t tend to lag unless there are connection issues with my mobile device or car stereo. I like that there are settings for the brightness, especially at night for long trips and don’t want it beaming. It connects automatically which is extremely convenient.

This was sooo easy to set up. I haven’t set up the backup camera portion yet, but i’d assume it’s similar in ease. It took me 5 minutes to set up and mount (without even needing instructions!). I loved that it offered multiple audio output modes as my aux port is broken – so I used the FM transmitter instead. Works great and auto connects when I start my car. For the price I was not expecting anything this high quality. Only small complaints are that:
1) the screen isn’t exactly even, so the left side on the CarPlay cuts off just a sliver compared to carplay in normal vehicles, but it’s hardly noticeable.
2) the screen is super bright even on the lowest setting, so at night it is a bit much.
overall tho I’d definitely recommend. 🙂

IT WORKS GREAT I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! No lag. I have a 2002 ford ranger so i used the FM transmitter use so yeah sometimes the radio takes over my music but i still love it it works 90% of the time. Easy to use. Touch screen is cool. Yes i use the cigarette lighter to connect the screen. I haven’t put the backup camera but I will soon.

Works well, installation was very easy. Setting it up to play through FM was easy and the connectivity is great. CarPlay looks good, it’s the right size to display everything without it being too small. Four stars because the knob to tighten the screen in place isn’t very strong so the screen basically sits at the bottom, and it does have a lot of glare.

I bought this portable car stereo for my dad’s older car, which lacks a built-in navigation system, and I’m thrilled with it.

This aftermarket Android Auto screen offers a surprisingly snappy performance and packs some genuinely useful features. I was particularly impressed by the inclusion of a video player and SD card slot, making it easy to enjoy movies and music on the go. The backup camera is also a welcome addition and provides a clear view. Installation was a breeze thanks to the suction cup mount.
However, there’s one significant drawback that holds this device back: the built-in microphone is quite poor. During phone calls, I consistently received complaints that I was difficult to hear. Similarly, voice commands like “Hey Google” were rarely recognized. This is a pretty substantial downside, especially for those who rely on hands-free calling and voice assistance while driving.
Overall, this screen offers a lot of functionality for the price and the snappy performance is a definite plus. If you don’t prioritize hands-free calling or voice commands, it’s a decent option. However, the subpar microphone prevents it from earning a higher rating.

Pretty easy to set up. I did need to look up to have it play sound in my car though. But if you’re good at technology then it would be a breeze for you. Features are good & it honestly makes everything so convenient now. Plus gives me gps again! Without trying to set my phone up!!! You can’t beat the price of this!!! Screen touch is fast & effective!!! The sticky pad holds the weight of the screen without it falling or feeling loose!!! This is such a game changer!!!
