Honestly, I don’t know why this car interior cleaning kit is specifically marketed for Tesla vehicles. I suppose anything associated with the Tesla brand can be sold for twice the price (just kidding). On a serious note, I have one of the early Tesla Model X cars, where the interior is still made of genuine leather rather than the synthetic material Tesla now uses in all its vehicles. The dirt stains that periodically appear on the leather panels and seats annoy me greatly. Ordinary leather care products usually don’t remove these stains; they only moisturize the leather. This product, however, effectively removed old dirt stains on the leather panel of the front right passenger door. You can see this in my video, about halfway through.
Regarding the product itself, it comes in the form of a soft foam that is applied to the included microfiber cloth or round sponge disc. The foam has a pleasant scent, unlike other products that emit a strong chemical odor. I didn’t see any warnings about how the product reacts with skin, but to be safe, I always wear protective gloves when handling new, unfamiliar chemicals. As I mentioned earlier, the foam not only cleans dirt stains effectively but also moisturizes the leather, giving it a nice matte finish. The interior of my car is beige, but I believe the product would work well on leather and leatherette of any color since it has no tint and doesn’t leave a paint layer on the surface. Instead, it moisturizes the surface, making it look like new or almost new leather.

This car interior cleaning kit is marketed for Tesla vehicles, although I’m not sure why it’s specific to Tesla – leather is leather, and cleaning a leather surface is not specific to a brand of car – Using the name “Tesla” is then just a marketing gimmick and I am not sure if Tesla signed-off and licensed the name! Anyway, the kit includes a soft foam that is applied using the included microfiber cloth or sponge disc. The foam has a pleasant scent and effectively cleans dirt stains while moisturizing the leather to give it a nice matte finish that restores the look of the original leather. It works well on leather and leatherette of any color and doesn’t leave a paint layer on the surface. Overall, it’s a good product, and I recommend it. I just took one star because of the aforementioned Tesla thing, which to me is not kosher.

I got this kit because it claims to clean Tesla’s interior. It says it’s a leather cleaner, but Tesla’s interiors aren’t leather so I figured I’d give it a shot.
It comes with a sponge and a nice thick microfiber towel, and then the foam cleaner. I like that the foam cleaner is a pump bottle and not an aerosol. But the foam is very thick, and doesn’t go very far. After a while, I just started applying it directly to the seats in the interior and rubbing it in. It seems to do a fine job. No residue, no streaks, no weird oiliness. Not any particular scent.
The only thing maybe I would wish for different would be the microfiber towel is microfiber on one side, but some sort of synthetic on the other. So you can’t use both sides and it tends to flip over while you’re using it. It also isn’t particularly clear what you’re supposed to use the sponge for. Maybe you’re supposed to rub the cleaner in with the sponge and wipe it off with the towel?
Overall, I don’t know if this is any better than the multitude of other cleaners out there, but it seems to do the job on the Tesla interior and it comes with a nice set of accessories.

I have a white interior Model X and the chairs are always a headache to be kept clean. This kit works like a charm. It has a foam cleanser, a round disk foam and a fiber cloth.
Very easy to dispense the cleanser by pressing the nozzle to the foam disk and simply wipe to clean. It wiped away most of the stains and spots found in the white chairs, very very easily.
No leakages observed from the bottle nor weird smell. Overall, this is a good product and I’d recommend to other Tesla owners.
