I guess I may have been using it incorrectly, but better instructions would have been nice. Reading other reviews it seems people were letting it dry on their glass before trying to rinse it off. I did not really do that, I applied it when it was rather warm outside so it almost dried instantly anyway and I rinsed it off by pouring water out of a jug onto it instead of using the pressure from a hose.
I was trying to bring my windows back to full clarity so I scrubbed them first using a 0000 brillo pad to remove water spots, then cleaned the windows using soap and water, dried it off with micro fiber towel, then applied this product using the applicator. I cannot confirm that this product helped MORE than the brillo pad alone, but my windows are very clear now. They do not repel water, dust, or road dirt any more than they did before so I honestly do not see a reason to go through the extra step of using this product.

This product does not work as advertised, actually makes visibility worse, and holds water droplets to the windshield. It took extensive effort to remove it from the windshield and get the conditions back to normal. Stick with RainX, it actually works!

I like to clear up a small misconception first. There are several YouTube and TikTok videos showing this style. A product being applied to a glass surface and then a low pressure high volume hose is dumping water on it and it produces no sitting water where the application was made on the windshield. It shows the water just sliding off. There is very limited directions with this package and product. It doesn’t really say how long to leave it on and any other instructions that might inhibit or not allow this product to work. I went ahead and applied and let it dry and removal is as simple as using your windshield wipers, a car wash, or just a little bit of window fluid and cleaning it off. The very next day after applying this, I went through one of the most severe heavy downpours of my adult life, while driving on the interstate. Even during the worst of it, I did not have to turn on my wipers. I didn’t really see the water hitting the glass, pulling up, And then blown off the car by the wind. I could hear the water hitting the windshield, but there was nothing there and it was good visibility. I was extremely impressed. About four days later it rang, and none of the effects that I had previously were noticed. I had to use my wipers And other than the glass being clear. It was almost like I did not use this product or none remain. I am not big on companies that embellish their products or flat out lie the buyers hoping for a quick sale on a junk product. I checked the description of this product again, and the majority of the entire description is telling us this removes oil and other contaminants and creates a clear looking glass. We are going on a month now and my glass is still clear. Although the water doesn’t magically roll off and create a situation where you do not need wipers anymore, but the windows themselves are perfectly clear with no oily residue. That alone is very impressive. When I weighed the entire results and reviewed the description again I felt this product is almost 100% as described. My windows are still clear and that is the main reason for forgetting it.Because of that I am not removing any stars and I will continue to use this oil remover to keep my windows clear. Although the directions never said I could, I do have a oily residue on the inside do my vape and I use this product to clean it. As soon as I applied it, I immediately sprayed it with window cleaner and used a microfiber towel. because I did the inside and out, it looks like I have no windchill. I am blown away by how clear everything is. I don’t know if this will turn into a safety issue or not because the instructions never said I could use it on the interior windows, but after a week it still looks amazing. This product easily earns five stars.

First applied this to my Model Y that is about 5 months old and didn’t see any difference so I thought perhaps there isn’t a whole lot of oil buildup. So I applied to my 2014 Audi A6 and still didn’t see any difference. I saw a review that I should let it dry first so I reapplied and let it dry for about 2 hours. I then tried to wipe off the residue but it was caked on the windshield. Took a lot of elbow grease to finally wipe it off and sprayed some water on the windshield and again, didn’t see any difference. I guess that I’m not really sure what to expect but this has been a complete waste of my time and effort.

These are a must! I live in a four season city and now have this in my garage and even each car we own. It helps keep windows cleaner, clearer and even helps with me dented windshield wipers. It was worth the cost. I would recommend this set to every household, even garage and car if needed regularly. Easy to work with, apply and reapply.

I was skeptical, but this brush really does remove that annoying windshield haze. Visibility has improved significantly. Just follow the instructions for best results.
