Hello everyone, I’ve used this couple of times when doing paint correction and let me tell you guys. This tool comes in handy, removes compound without destroying the pad. Just make sure to use it when giving it couple of passes. If not the compound will actually stick and have to use the air hose. But it does what it’s intended to do. Happy polishing guys

I bought this tool basically to have all Rupes branded items but was really impressed with how easily it helped me remove the pads without damaging them from the velcro and also to clean the pads after each pass.

Now that I have used this tool a few times I cannot imagine getting along without it. The fact that it helps removes pads from backing plates is enough of a reason to buy it honestly. It also does a great job of cleaning foam pads in the middle of a job.
