I bought this to treat my Molloscum Contagiosum, a skin condition characterized by unsightly wart-like bumps. I was sick of paying money to go to a dermatologist who would freeze the bumps off so i invested in this can of spray. It is pretty good, though not nearly as cold as the liquid nitrogen the dermatologist uses. That being said, it was reasonably effective at treating the bumps. After about 40 applications there seems to be about half the can left. My only gripe with this product is that even with the little straw installed, the spray radius is quite large, which means i was freeze burning the area around my bump as well. Still, you cant beat the price when you compare it to that of the dermatologists’ office.

I bought this item after reading the reviews on it from the people who bought it to remove warts. This Multi-Purpose Freeze Spray IS NOT the product that was sent to me although it is the product I ordered. I was sent a can of STATFREEZE. It pretty much looks like the same stuff so I tried it on a wart. I made a cover for my skin so I couldn’t accidentally freeze anything but the wart which worked fine except for the fact that the STATFREEZE tends to run and it was hard to control where it ran to. I don’t recall the liquid nitrogen that the Dermatologist uses, running out of control like that, and I’ve has a lot of warts and moles frozen off there. I wonder if their liquid nitrogen is much colder than these and that’s why it costs considerably more. I don’t know that I would recommend the STATFREEZE for wart removal unless you have someone else around to help you mop up the liquid nitrogen that is running all over the place. I was alone and it was very hard to hold the can and the protective cover and mop up the residue at the same time. The STATFREEZE says that it is for medical purposes but I’m assuming that it is for lab tissue samples etc. not for people who are ALIVE 🙂 Anyway, the wart did dry up and fall off saving me at least $50 to go to the Dermatologist who charges $100 to remove three warts.

Taches brunes et mon kérathose sur le nez, je fais la même technique que mon dermatologue. Ne pas appliquer directement sur la peau avec la paille, mais mettre le.produit dans un petit contenant et appliquer avec un coton tige. Pour les tâches brunes plus foncées, jais refais après 5 semaines Une 2ieme application.

On my chest, I have hundreds of small raised Seborrheic Keratosis due to excessive sun exposure. I’ve spent close to $3,000 on dermatology Laser Co2 treatments which didn’t work. I purchased this product and sprayed it on a small area of my chest and the multiple SK was gone. I then sprayed a larger area close to my neck. Since the SK was so dense I went over the area three times, each time allowing the area to turn white, and now 1/2 my chest is free of raised SK and I am about to do the other side of my chest. I will then use Retina-A to fad the rest of the dark sun damaged areas that aren’t raised. To be honest, this was a painful treatment, but the discomfort subsides within 15 minutes. It also produced a second-degree burn, but I kept the area covered in vaseline. My skin took about a month to heal completely and return to its normal color. There was NO scaring.

This does what I had hope and a lot better than the pharmacy brand. Be careful how long you hold the freezing tip on your skin because it blisters a lot faster than the pharmacy brand. That said, a couple of weeks later the black scab fell of and the mole was gone. Skin now fine. I would try just 10 seconds.

After 2 years of seeing dermatologist to have several small/tiny HPV papilloma frozen off, I decided to try this spray and do it myself instead. I had several small perianal warts and every time I went to the dermatologist, it just seemed to spread it/them to a new area. They hurt severely for days afterwards as well. It was uncomfortable/embarrassing telling the dermatologist about the problem, and they seemed uncomfortable or inexperienced in treating it. After time, the tiny/small ones just disappeared, but 1 large one remained. It was initially about 1/2 cm X 1/2 cm. I would try using those over the counter freezing kits from the drug store, but they would only seem to reduce the thickness by a few layers and result it it growing wider. After several attempts with the OTC freezing kit it ended up growing to about 2cm X 2cm. I used this spray an am completely free from at least the visible/palpable warts. HPV is a skin virus, and never is cured. The immune system can suppress the virus and some people can not exhibit the symptoms (the warts), however, even with a wart removed, the local skin still had the virus. I used this spray directly on the wart (I had my husband spray it for me). I did not spray it onto a Q-tip or into a cup, but directly on the wart. He did several short sprays, protecting the surrounding skin by using a cotton make-up remover pad as a barrier. He would spray about 1 second, pause, repeat, pause, repeat. This was to give the freezing time to penetrate and freeze to the deepest layers of skin possible. The freezing process did not hurt, but the thawing did sting a little bit. We repeated the process 2 nights in a row, took a night off, then repeated it a 3rd night. I did not develop a blister, however all of the cells of the wart ruptured overnight leaving a sort of gelatinous/wet substance that I had to wipe off. Instantly 90% of the wart was just gone. Over the next 2 weeks as new skin pushed up, the remaining thin layer of hard/warty skin disappeared. There was no spreading, only minor discomfort for a few days. I placed a bandage over the area after cleaning the site with soap and water twice a day for the first 7 days. This was my attempt to keep it from spreading and to prevent infection. It worked for me personally. Good luck to those of you who are trying it for the same purpose. I was pretty aggressive with the freezing, because I was tired of dealing with it. Use short brief bursts, pause, repeat. Protect the surrounding skin with a barrier, like a piece of cardboard or a plastic disposable spoon.

This product was not effective for me. When trying to use the sprayer attachment the first time, it broke and I was forced to improvise to get the product out of the can. It was purchased to help remove skin tags and instead, it burned the areas around the tags but the tags remained. Aside from wasted money, it was disappointing to (once again) finds a product that does not deliver. Perhaps others have had better success. Guess an expensive visit to the Dermatologist will be necessary.
