I applied the product exactly as the directions stated, let it dry for more than the recommended 2 hours, (actually almost 32 hours), and after only idling for 10 minutes the leaks broke through the repair (and also gained one more!) If you have radiator leaks just bite the bullet and either have it professionally repaired or buy a new one. Don’t waste your money or your time on snake oil!

I had quite a few rust pinholes in my tank that I used the Permatex fuel tank sealer on. I trust the name Permatex to make good quality chemicals for automotive use. This tank repair system did not disappoint. it saved me $60 to get the tank completely resealed at a radiator shop.

This didn’t seem to work at first on the plastic radiator in my son’s Wrangler – after 3 hours it still hadn’t cured. Because it’s epoxy I thought some extra heat might help so every 10 minutes or so I went out in the garage and heated the patch with a hair dyer set on high. It took another hour +/- but by then it was totally cured. It held for the 6 mile trip to the radiator shop where we got a new radiator, so it did what I needed it to do.
