I’ve tried a few Alcantara cleaners before and often find that they leave a residue on the fabric which looks like a light stain after drying. This version not only cleans rather well by quickly removing stains or dirt, but also dries clean without any marks or residue left behind. I’m been very pleased with this and it’s effectiveness. The 16oz bottle is quite generous and will go a long way to keep my car in like new condition.

I use this as a boot and steering wheel cover cleaner. It’s easy to use and cleans well with little effort. Like most of Adam’s products, the quality is top-notch. It’s a 16-oz bottle, and the spray top is excellent. This has a faint, pleasant scent and leaves a great clean finish. It didn’t stain lighter colors and was gentle on the fabric. Most cleaning requires only spraying and wiping with a microfiber towel. If it’s a deeper embedded stain, it may need to be scrubbed with a toothbrush to remove the stain. This is made in the USA, and it’s an excellent value.

Adam’s is very well known and respected name in the detailing products industry. They offer a very full line of such products.
While alcantara looks and feels nice, I don’t think materials that are delicate or tricky/difficult to clean belong in car interiors, especially on surfaces that are frequently handled or touched. Apparently, however, some car manufacturers don’t share my opinion.
This cleaner by Adam’s is the best alcantara cleaner I’ve tried. It is both gentle and effective, making it ideal for that particular use.
The cleaner is easy to use, but I recommend in the strongest terms that you watch the video by Adam’s that appears on the listing page with the photographs. There are some CRITICAL tips there with respect to NOT brushing in circular motions, but only straight lines to avoid pilling. I would also recommend always using white microfiber towels for two reasons: first, it eliminates any possibility of dye transfer and, second, you can see what you are removing from the material.
This is now my “go to” alcantara cleaner.

I used to clean suede and leather shoes and it work decently. I sprayed these and used a brush to lift off the dirt. I ended up rinsing my shoes with water to get rid of the residue. The spray did not have a strong scent.

I’ve used Adams car products (soaps, tire dressing, interior polish) for a while, and they have always been dependable. Until recently, I haven’t had a vehicle with suede/Alcantara surfaces, but that changed. Now I have some dark surfaces that need occasional upkeep, no matter how careful I am.
Adams cleaner works well, although one should be cautious, trying it out in places that won’t matter as much if you experience pilling, fading, or just subtle color or texture changes caused by the product, or your attempts to use the product. I strongly encourage watching their how-to video, it’s only a couple of minutes long, and might save you from sadness down the road.
