Let me be clear. I love this product, BUT when I purchased it from this seller (JB Tools) the compound was delivered to me COMPLETELY watered down, useless, and I ended up just having to throw it away because they won’t refund on liquids.
I ordered it with a lot of other things on Amazon before I did a paint job. The product was delivered quickly and was immediately put on a shelf in my private shop (that no one else has access to). It took me a little over a month to do the job and when I went to use this product, I found that it was useless from being watered down.
I had to go to a local supplier and buy another gallon. I contacted JB Tools and Amazon and explained the situation but since it had been more than 30 days, they were not obligated to refund me and they informed me that even if I had been in the 30 day window, they still wouldn’t have refunded me because it was a liquid…..
I do not go around making accusations. I don’t think I have EVER written a bad review for someone on Amazon. I have nothing to gain from doing either of those things without reason and I surely have nothing to gain from saying any of this.
I will say that this was the first and only time I have had this issue with this product. I have bought it multiple times from multiple vendors and I wouldn’t think of using ANY other compound on my freshly painted and color-sanded paint jobs. I do FULLY recommend this product but I also FULLY recommend you buy it and all your polishing products from a different vendor. Avoid JB Tools.
