Great for making the plastic trim look nice

Great product, used it on my Seadoo Spark & it made it look brand new again. Works not just on black plastic, but all color trim. The liquid work much better than the spray and lasts longer, but the spray is handy for getting into detailed areas that might be difficult to reach with a rag.

I recently had the pleasure of trying out Meguiar’s Ultimate Black Plastic Restorer, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations in every way. This little 10 oz spray can has turned out to be a game-changer when it comes to restoring and rejuvenating plastic surfaces.
One of the first things I noticed about this product is its ease of use. The spray nozzle allows for precise application without any mess or waste. All you need to do is spray a small amount of the restorer onto a clean, dry cloth and then gently rub it onto the plastic surface. The formula spreads easily and doesn’t require excessive buffing or rubbing.
The results are simply fantastic. Meguiar’s Ultimate Black Plastic Restorer effortlessly transforms faded, dull plastic into a deep, rich black color that looks brand new. The restorer not only restores the color but also provides a protective layer that guards against harmful UV rays and prevents further fading and cracking. It creates a long-lasting finish that gives the plastic a glossy appearance, enhancing the overall aesthetics of the vehicle or any other plastic surface.
I’ve used this product on a variety of surfaces, including automotive trim, interior panels, and even faded garden furniture, and it has consistently delivered outstanding results. The transformation is remarkable, and the renewed plastic surfaces look as good as new.
Another noteworthy aspect of Meguiar’s Ultimate Black Plastic Restorer is its durability. Even after exposure to harsh weather conditions, such as rain and direct sunlight, the restored plastic surfaces retain their vibrant color and protective finish. It’s reassuring to know that this product provides long-lasting protection, saving you time and effort in the long run.
I also appreciate the attention to detail that Meguiar’s has put into this product. It doesn’t leave behind any greasy residue or sticky feeling. Instead, the finish feels smooth to the touch and doesn’t attract dust or dirt, keeping the plastic surfaces looking clean and fresh.
In summary, Meguiar’s Ultimate Black Plastic Restorer is a remarkable product that I highly recommend. Its ease of use, incredible results, durability, and attention to detail make it stand out from other plastic restorers on the market. If you want to revive and protect your plastic surfaces, this spray can is an absolute must-have. Meguiar’s has once again delivered a top-notch product that surpasses expectations.

OMG this stuff is great. I have not detailed my car in a couple years and the trim was starting to grey. Without washing the car first, I know bad idea, but I didn’t want to wait till it all dried. But I just dabbed this on a spot to see what it would do. At first it did nothing, but a couple seconds later it soaked in and made the trim look brand new again. Amazingly easy to use, easy to wipe on and looks amazing after it’s all done. My trim looks brand new.

Great stuff! See photos and I wish I had taken “before” shots. The black plastic was almost white certainly grey. I applied this stuff 3 days in a row. It’s been two weeks and it still looks great. I used a 1/2” artists brush and slathered it on the door handles and hood latches. It looked like a big dog sneezed on them. The next morning it was all absorbed into the plastic handles. They look like new!
I know when you own a Jeep like this you’ll have to keep adding some sort of protection. But if it gets out of hand, this stuff will help you get things back in line.
It was easy to apply and, easy to clean up.
I highly recommend this product.
A month later it looks GREAT! I bought a second container. We used it on my son’s Subaru CrossTrek and it worked terrific!

This cream is a Godsend for 08 tundra. Much more easier to apply that turtle waxes liquid version

I’ve used Back to Black for years on my vinyl trim and it works great. I thought I’d give this a try as it’s a bit less expensive .. it is NOT comparable at all. In fact, after one use, I placed an order for 2 bottles of B2B despite the still full bottle of Meguiars.
It does condition the vinyl to some extent, and likely provides some UV protection. Even after a generous application, however, it doesn’t really brighten up dark colored trim very much. After being rained on, there were noticeable drip lines in the finish, so it doesn’t do much at all in the way of protection from liquids or, presumably, contact with other substances. Lastly, it appears notably faded fairly soon after application .. like a week or so, maybe. I’m used to applying Back to Black and seeing no sign of wear or fade for well over a month. I’ve even gone several months at times, and still found my vinyl trim looking fresh and bright.
The difference between these 2 products in quality is really significant and the cost difference is negligible. I’m giving this a thumbs down and going “Back to Black”.
