I originally brought these as Christmas gifts for my service technicians to use in their work trucks. Figured it would be something different and fun at the same time. They all raved about them and thought they were awesome. So I had to try them for myself and get some for me!
This putty gets into all those weird tiny cracks and hard to reach crevices. it doesn’t leaves any residue or weird marks on any of the surfaces that I tried in my car. I obviously didn’t try it on the audio screen or clock. The instructions say not to do so which totally makes sense.
Some reviews say it leaves hands slimy, I didn’t experience that. It has a different feel to it, like a silly putty feel.
There isn’t really any directions for cleaning the product. So I choose to try something out. I took some heavy duty paper towels and ran it under warm water, rang it out pretty well. I opened up the paper towels and laid out on the counter. I took the putty and quickly rolled it around the wet paper towel. It really cleaned off most of the dirt and all the larger particles the putty had stuck to it. I did not soak the putty in water. Just a few quick rolls around the paper towel. after i did that, I put it back into the air tight jar it came in. After a few days, I opened it up to use it again and it worked the same way it did the first time! It wasn’t dried out or anything. Still picked up dust and particles like before.
I was happy with this product. I would recommend this to anymore that likes to keep the surfaces in their car clean on a daily basics. I am not sure how well this putty would do on like extremely dirty surfaces and used more frequently on those heavily soiled surfaces. But for me this was a great purchase at a great price and perfect for my need in my car!

As a parent of two mess-making kids, this putty saved my sanity (and my car’s interior). Cheap, effective, and oddly satisfying! Also, don’t buy a Tesla with white seats when you have kids 😂😂😂
PROS:
– FITS IN TINY SPACES: Dug crumbs, sand, and mystery gunk out of seat cracks and vents like a pro.
– REUSABLE (KINDA): Works until it’s too dirty – got about 10-12 cleans before it turned into a grime ball.
– CHEAP FIX: Way better than shelling out $20 every time my kids “redecorate” the backseat.
CONS:
– DIRTY PUTTY PROBLEM: Turns dirty fast – not pretty, but hey, that means it’s working?
– STICKY HANDS: Sometimes leaves residue if you knead it too aggressively.
After a road trip with Goldfish crackers and melted fruit snacks, this putty resurrected my cup holders. Felt like a forensic cleaner unearthing evidence of snack crimes 😂😂 ok I promise no more dad jokes 😂😂

I pruchased this to use in my vehicle to get into those hard to clean areas. I ended up using it in my dad’s work truck to really put it to the test. He is working in a very dusty area with the red dirt….his truck was covered in the thick dust, so a perfect test of the product. He and I cleaned what we could with rags, but I wanted to try this stuff out on the creases and vents. It worked alright. Here are the pros/cons of the product from my initial test:
Pros:
– Ease of use: This is very easy to use. Just open it up, pull it out, and start dabbing it into the dusty areas. I found that tapping the dust to get the worst of it off before dragging it over a second time worked best.
– Cleaning: This is good for loose dust. It worked really well at removing the dust in the vents and some of the corners you could not get a rag into.
Cons:
– Cleaning: This did not remove some of the stuck on dust that a rag would have removed. I also found that getting in tighter crevices did not work very well either. It also left a little greasy feel that may attract dust or that some people may not like on their dashes or inside their vehicles.
– Cleaning the product: With as heavy of dust that was in my dad’s truck, the gel got pretty dirty. I am not sure the best way to clean it, or if you can even clean it. Rags and towels are easy…just throw them into a washing machine. I’m guessing this is use until completely dirty and throw away.
– Messy: This also leaves a greasy feel to your hands. With rags, you can usually minimize this, but this stuff gets all over your fingers, especially the finger you use to press it into vents.
Overall, this is something that is a neat idea, but it really is not great. It worked okay at getting loose dirt and dust off of surfaces, but you could also get the same results from using something like tape or wrapping a small tool with some cloth and using cleaning agents. This might make a cheap, fun stocking stuffer if you want to get something that is different. Personally, I don’t think I’ll buy this again and just use rags.
Sand –
Good quality. It doesn’t smell great, but it direct smell terrible. The smell doesn’t stay in the air for long either. It definitely makes my car look newer and cleaner. Clean car, happy drive. There are some spots that I just need to wash/clean with a cloth, but this is great for overall use. It gets dirty quickly, but it doesn’t seem the affect the efficacy of the slime. It is much wetter than I would have expected or liked, but it doesn’t stay that way, and you get used to it. The container is a good size for a center console or a glove box (my personal choice). Would buy again.

This gunky stuff does work really well at getting dust off my car’s interior. Every time I think I dusted well, I see more, I break out this stuff and it does the job. It doesn’t seem to leave any residue behind and doesn’t smell bad, so seems like win.
