I’ve been using Turtle Wax products for decades. As usual I wasn’t disappointed with this. It’s consistent, the shine is beautiful. You’ll have to put some effort in, and it’s worth it.

This was my first try at rubbing compound and I have not been disappointed so far. I bought this to remove scratches on my truck bed rail and around my wife’s door handles where her nails have scratched it. This applies and removes easily and works amazingly. I was able to get out what I thought were serious scratches on my bed rail from a load of dirt/rocks. It looks and shines like new now. Also, on the door handles, this polished all of the minor scratches out in no time. Just a quick coat of wax after use and everything shone like new.
One thing I have been surprised about using this was the pre-wax use. I hadn’t waxed my wife’s SUV in a while and when I applied the wax it was very tough to bring to a polish. I use a carnuba wax that generally is very easy on/off and easy to bring to a mirror finish. So, I tried this. I put this on, let it dry to a haze, buffed it off, and tried the wax again. I was absolutely amazed at the difference it made in the ease/outcome of the wax. I did the whole SUV that way and it actually sped up my process even though I essentially waxed it twice. It was so easy on/off with the wax that I was able to get really good results in less time because I used this rubbing compound first.
I’m so happy with this that it’ll be a permanent staple in my detailing que for some time to come.

Great product and at the moment the cheapest. I’ve been using turtle wax rubbing compound over 20 years and I can say for the price it’s very good. Ofcource 3m is better but it costs 6 times as much

In a public parking lot, someone scratched my pearl white car with red marks. I was very upset because my vehicle is new. A friend told me about this product and with elbow grease this took the marks right out. So happy I found this product.

Bought this product after trying MANY other waxes and scratch fixes. Accidentally scratched my black paint with a scrubby sponge over a large area on the door. After using this 3 times, it looks dramatically better. I intend to use this one more time, then wax. I would recommend trying this before anything else. Save yourself the time!
Also, only a small amount of product is needed. Rub it on with one of those soft, wax applying pads. Let it dry thoroughly then buff to a shine. The application is the key to how it works. Really buff it on there with all your strength!

It is not a tough rubbing compound. You will have extreamly hard time except removing superficial scratches. You may use it as kind of polish though.

I used it on a bicycle that was in storage for years with various grime, dirt, and small surface rust. It polished right up. It removed the surface rust, and grime, it didn’t look like it had ever rusted. The chrome polished like brand new. What a great product.
