Works great. I bought a different brand a few weeks before and it kicked off after about 6 minutes. This one is far superior

Breakers are important. Completely ignored once installed, they labor in anonymity while saving your wiring and devices from failing and thus putting your life in danger. There are so many junk breakers out there now, made with sketchy materials and shoddy workmanship. If you’re lucky, they trip early and are a constant nuisance. If you’re unlucky they don’t trip at all and your gear, and maybe you, get burned. It isn’t worth it… pay for quality and sleep peacefully. It sure beats cheaping out, and “resting in peace.”

I needed a breaker and disconnect between a 12V battery and inverter/charger for my basement backup sump pump. With anything electrical, it’s ill-advised to save a few bucks on no-name, Chinese-made products regardless what the reviews say.
Cooper Bussman is owned by Eaton. It’s UL-listed, so I am confident in its construction and safety. This unit is made in Mexico. It is solidly built and works with any DC voltage up to 48V. It is rated at 200A continuous, IP66, marine and ignition rated (designed to be used in boat engine compartment — it will not spark and ignite fumes, something I felt is a good thing to have in a basement environment with gas appliances.) Three screw holes allow it to mount directly to plywood backing, although I would not put tapcons through them with an impact driver. The battery cable studs are 5/16″; I have no problem with 2/0 cable lugs.
IMO, spend a little more on something like this and sleep well at night.
