Bought this for my wife’s 2003 Camry as we thought the bearings were going out. Received the hubs in a very timely manner. Standard removal-install is to remove the 4 bolts holding the hub, remove the hub, then bolt the new hub into place. Normally about a 30 minute job. However the install can be a pain, which is not a problem with the hubs themselves. The old hubs were rusted to the brake back plate. This is probably a normal situation as the car had 150K miles on it. The only way to get them off is to completely remove the back plate, which involves removing the emergency brake shoes and associated hardware, removed the back plate, and press out the old hub. Or as we did, completely tear out the back part of the hub, which contains the ABS sensor, tear out the sensor, then with an impact, remove the bolt holding the wheel stud, then using a hammer, pound the hub off the back plate. Turned into a 3 hour job per wheel. So if you tackle this yourself, make sure you have the right tools. In the end, the original wheel bearings were not bad, as we were given bad advice on what the noise we were hearing. But now we have new, hubs, new brakes and rotors, so all is good anyway.
The quality of the Timken hubs were great. They look as good, if not better than the OEM hubs.
If you need to replace your hubs, go with these. Timken has always had a reputation of quality and these are a prime example.

Sad that I had to replace both the rear wheel hubs my sister’s 2008 Camry with 80,000 miles, because the poor quality OEM hubs have failed. The original hubs should have lasted the life of the car! This Camry has numerous build quality issues that older modes did not.
The old hub was making a howling – growling noise at 30-50 MPH. I changed the Left Rear, which I thought was the bad one, only to find the noise was minimized somewhat because the RR was bad also. So I would caution you to replace both at the same time.
Bought these because TIMKEN is known for quality. They were pricey, but I did not want to get another hub made in CHINA.

I have Lexus ES 350 And unfortunately this product is not up to OEM standards. If you’re replacing a factory wheel bearing unit with this aftermarket unit it will give you an error code Even though they claim that part fits like OEM and exceeds the OEM quality standards, it’s not true. More importantly product started making noise in less than a year. Cost of this product is cheaper than labor itself. I will recommend for everybody with Toyota or Lexus to skip this product.

Ordered this for a 2004 Lexus ES 330 to replace the original Koyo wheel bearings that had over 250k miles. Works great and replacing the part can be done at home. Will update on longevity. Bearing was packed fine for shipping.
Had to use the floor jack for tension and hammer out the OEM bearing from the sensor side as the heat had seized the part inside the hub. Get rid of any rust from the faces of the hub (NOT the inside cavity where the bearing goes in the hub) and use anti-seize.
If you think your wheel bearing is going bad, you need to diagnose the problem as best as you can. I ended up replacing the wrong side because it’s hard to distinguish where the noise is coming from. Here’s what helped:
Take the car to a place where you can do a sweeping left or sweeping right hand turn. You want to hear if the vibration noise goes away or speeds up. This will indicate which side the wheel bearing is bad. For me, making a sweeping right hand turn at above 30 mph made the noise disappear (because the car’s weight is being shifted to the outer left side wheels).
The BEST way to know which is bad from my experience is free spinning the assembly with the wheel and brake calipers off.
