My Ranger 800 recently quit running and I noticed I couldn’t hear the electric fuel pump running. I wasn’t sure if that was the problem but when I found one on Amazon that was less expensive than the one from the Polaris dealer I gave it a try. Much to my surprise it looked exactly like the original equipment one I removed and was extremely easy to install. After finishing I held my breath and turned the key. It started immediately and I think it might be running better than before.

got my 6×6 800 efi polaris running quickly after fouling up my old pump. lets see how long it lasts. if it doesnt last long ill report back and edit this review. 5 stars for now.

Old pump died, swapped to this unit, and everything is running great. Only issue I noticed is it’s an inch or two shorter than the other pump. So it doesn’t make it to the bottom of the gas tank, but that doesn’t bother me. Will updated if anything negative occurs.

After installing the pump, it only worked a week. I’m past return window by one week because it sat for a few weeks before I had time to diagnose the problem so now I’m stuck with it and out of $80. It would be nice if they would exchange it. Save yourself some trouble, pay a little more and get a well made one that has a better warranty.
