After getting a 0028A2 fault code I did some research and found that in many cases the cause was the solenoid failure. It only took 15 minutes to install this solenoid. The fault code cleared and my highway MPG improved from 23 to 27. It’ll pay for itself pretty quickly with the gas price hikes we’re dealing with!

Item has been installed and works. Unfortunately the connector on the solenoid is reversed not allowing you to make the proper wiring connection with the elbow support to the connector end. Because of this, I had to remove the elbow wire connector support and reverse the connection end and re-install the elbow support to the wire connector end to the solenoid.
I has read another purchaser halve the sane issue and thought it may have been a fluke. It was not. If you do order, expect this issue or find a Fibi replacement for your OEM that I’ve decided to go with for both Intake & Exhaust.
