I replaced the pump in my ’08 Sierra, this pump listed as correct was different than the original. The float fitment was truck’s rear side of the pump instead of the driver’s side when inserted in tank so the float works in the width opposed to the length of the tank not a big deal, still functions had just enough clearance in tank but hits side of tank when gas level is low/empty will never be an issue so long as I don’t run it empty too much where it could become a possible issue. When empty the low fuel warning light did come on so there was obviously enough clearance to function correctly. The guide mount on the top lined up with a different opening than the original on the lockdown ring slots which requires a slight cut to the pumps guide to fit.
The pump works great no issues.
