The site says this item is a replacement for chev hhr 2009, when i removed it from the package the first thing that caught my eye was that it was about 5-6 inches shorter than the one on my car. When i attached it to my car; my fear was confirmed, the gate could only go half way up. Cut and dry, bottom line, it does not work
