Purchased this strut assembly 5/21/23. Took me a couple of months to get around to installing it (did both RH and LH sides). About two months later I started getting a “clunking noise” when turning. Figured it was a lower control arm or CV joint. Not the case. The RH strut upper bearing is defective. Should be within warranty, right? Now I’m getting the run-around from Monroe and Amazon. Product Support through Amazon takes me to Monroe’s site. I’ve contacted Monroe and they tell me to go through Amazon. I bet they save a lot on warranty costs this way. Buy a different brand!

Purchased in May 2023. Put on both sides. They started making noise after a little over one year. Boots were cracked. I took the photos in Nov 2024.
I contacted Monroe support, who told me that these struts had a lifetime warranty and that I needed to submit a form to Amazon.
I contacted Amazon and was told they would contact me in 3 days, but I never heard from them. Still waiting. It is January 2025 now.
Update. Monroe support took over and replaced them with new ones. I bought a new pair from a local store and reimbursed. They also gave me the return mail labels.

Perfect Fit for my Toyota Sienna 2011 Minivan

I replaced the struts on my 2013 Toyota Sienna, and this was an almost perfect replacement. It’s listed to fit Sienna’s from 2011-2014 so I know I had the right part. My only issue was that the mount point for the stabilizer bar link was about 1-1.5″ lower than it was on the strut I was replacing. The stabilizer bar link was too long to fit — 295.5mm. I went to a local auto parts store and verified the link for my vehicle was correct, 295.5mm.
I ended up buying the stabilizer bar link for a Toyota Highlander which was 1-2″ shorter, and fit perfectly.
I don’t know why this happened or where the fault lies, but this tripped me up and added some time and expense to the repair.

I avoid them. Not thinking after the install, the noise was present after some months, thinking it was something else.
My d***b*ss bought many things to replace parts, not suspecting the struts.
Less than 17,000 miles, this when I decide to pull the struts out, boom there it is.
The noise was more present on the right but was very same for the left because everything on the road like pothole, cracks, uneven road was more to the right.
I said enough, avoid Monroe. If you buy one, make sure it is through your local shop, sure 2x-3x the cost, but it be much easier to exchange no questions ask. Through here, Monroe Support has their own 3rd party to handle Amazon, when you do, they require you buy another one and send over the invoice before submitting a reimbursement. I said in my mind, F that.
Not going to spend more money through Amazon knowing the quality, and then show them my new purchase (invoice) and the chance for them to not reimburse me. Or worst I send them the old one and they claim nothing wrong with it, and having the possibility of paying back.
Spend a little more through your local shop, I know we being cheap but the last you want is company taking advantage of us. I mean the local auto shop already are, but the ease of returning such item is always no questions ask.

Bought two of these and they started making noise before even a year. Contacted vendor and was referred to fill out a form with Amazon for the guarantee. Did that over a week ago and no one has contacted me from anywhere. Think that was the end of it. Stocked with noisy struts and over 250 dollars waisted.
Update: still waiting for an answer from this vendor. Amazon is also not being helpful since I have been chatting with them and they put me on hold for over 20 minutes with no response after tow of the customer rep. have been on the chat.
I had to buy the struts from the dealer and consider the money lost with Amazon.
If you are lucky enough your struts come out good, then you have no issue, but if you need help. Good luck

I finally got approved for a return for damages, but they game me one week to return them or it will cancel, so I need to hurry up and send them back.
Update 5/29/24
I feel the need to say what a bad customer service this is, I sent the return and they received them on the 6th, so far they partially refunded me one of the struts partially, and I say partially because I paid 124.99 plus tax for it and they only refunded me 110 and some change. Amazon keeps saying, don’t worry, you’ll get your refund, but here we are almost a month after they received it and no refund yet.
After spending an hour and half on chat and talk to 7 different reps plus on the phone for half hour, finally one customer service rep helped me with the refund and still have to wait for 7 day to see if it comes through.
Also, be ready to pay restocking fee for defective struts. 25 dollars.
