It’s ceramic and seems OK, but I pulled it out, a few days later, troubleshooting another problem, and the ceramic end on one of the cables cracked into pieces.

The ceramic plug evidently was not fully cooled when it was removed from the mold. The slot to fit into the H11 headlight plug was too small. I tried to file it down with a hobby tool, thought I had done enough and when I pressed it into place, the ceramic broke. It still worked, but shoddy quality control. I originally gave them a five star at first until I actually tried to install. In fairness to iJDMTOY, I have not contacted them yet for a replacement. If every one of their plugs has shrinkage/warping like mine, then they are all junk and I cannot recommend. I hope mine was a fluke and not representative of all of their products. I had purchased to replace the cheap factory H11 headlight plugs that melt all the time on my Pontiac G6 (oughta be a RECALL!). I cut off the H8 end and spliced H11 end onto car’s headlight wiring only to find plug could not fit into H11 bulb.

I purchased these in the past and they cracked as soon as I installed them into the H11 bulb. After melting another plastic version, I decided to try these again and was able to install them without cracking it. Here’s how:
1: Apply a thin coat of dielectric grease on all ceramic surfaces (including the slot, and inside the sockets).
2: VERY GENTLY begin PARTIALLY inserting the ceramic connector STRAIGHT into the H11 bulb. Only push it in a little until you either hear scraping noise or it starts to get difficult to push it in. Then gently remove it.
3: Continue this process a few times until it seats all the way into the H11 bulb.
NOTE: You may need to clean the ceramic surface and reapply a thin coat of dielectric grease a couple of times. Once you are able to seat it all of the way, you should be able to remove and insert it easily (remember to open the ears all the way so they don’t catch the tab when you are removing). Be sure to go slow and keep everything straight.
Now that I have these installed on my 2013 Kia Sorento (known to melt these) I hope it works for a long time!

These connectors are awesome – much better than OEM wiring.
One of the connectors for the H-11 halogen headlamps in my Jeep burned up, and I had to splice in a new connector. I also installed these ceramic connectors to connect straight to the bulb to prevent a future burn-out. Wiring is thicker and with more insulation than OEM.

Not quite the right fit for h11. The ceramic is very crumbly. Works for the repair but highly doubt this will last for years

Please note this harness is NOT plug and play for H9 halogen bulbs.
You will still have to shave/chisel/cut/trim the extra tab that is in the H9 bulb socket. The male ceramic end has only one slot cut into it, which means it is set up to receive H11 bulbs. Because it is ceramic, the harness end cannot be altered without breaking, so you are stuck cutting the tab out of the H9 bulb. Once the tabs are trimmed in the bulb, the harness clicks into place securely.
I tried to avoid the bulb surgery but it turned out to be only a minor pain. I used the bulb’s packaging as a holder (I wanted to avoid getting my greasy mitts all over the bulb). Then an X acto chisel blade, heated with a torch to melt/cut the tab out of the bulb and perform the circumcision (please use eye and hand protection!!). If you are challenged by delicate work however, you best look for an accomplice.
That being said, the female end has no restrictions and should mate to your factory harness end as it did to mine (2014 Honda Accord)-just push in until it lightly clicks. The wire used is at least 16 gauge which is pretty heavy by today’s auto standards (and a heavier gauge than the factory headlight connector), and the ceramic ends will take the heat of higher watt bulbs run for extended periods. I totally dig how they went the extra mile and further shielded the wires with flexible wire loom.
I found it easier to attach the bulbs to the harness first (they fit snugly!), mount the bulbs into the headlight assembly, then finally connect the harness to the factory harness.
So, a nice harness, quickly shipped, with some application provisos.

Fit perfectly. Purchased as insurance for converting my low beams from H11 to the higher wattage H9 halogen bulbs. Modified the H9 bulb female connector to accept the H11/H8 harness. Be careful not to force the plug into the socket- the ceramic does give a “crunch” as the metal prongs slide into the ceramic insulator, but you’d be fine as long as it’s going in straight. Well made product.
